Thanks for posting, I not a crane operator. But find them intriguing.i see the electric cable running down one side of the tower. Would love to know how that all connects. And when the crane is unattended in high winds. How the cable doesn’t twist and snap? So basically the electrical side to running the crane, keep the videos coming 👍

it takes a special breed to do that job... I am not scared of heights yet i still get a bit queasy when you show looking down over the edge of your cabin. that's a long long drop

Thanks for showing us the climb up into the crane footage. Just before I found you, I was trying to depict a SWAT sniper climbing up and onto a 300,ft tower crane then out onto the 200ft jib🫣. And this, on a blustery below ° full moon night to do surveillance on suspects while perched over a gigantic container yard. Seeing those rest platforms ( what do you call them?), at different intervals made more sense than my vertical straight loooooonnng latter!🙄😳

I was wondering before why none of the cranes have lifts, even the 24 meter crane would probably have one here in the Netherlands. Makes it easy to see when the driver is back from their break. But like you say, it's definitely good exercise. So far I've not seen any block cameras, but they pretty much all have one in the trolley. Interesting videos, I like seeing your perspective and enjoy your presentation.
