Bad advice, IMO, to solve a 'weak pinky' problem by moving your wrist all around. That is a TERRIBLE habit to ingrain into a beginner. The proper 'fix' if your pinky can't reach the keys is to move your entire hand farther into the keybed. The problem you show is really caused by beginners trying to avoid the black keys - they resist moving their hand farther into the keybed where their longest fingers might be between two black keys. The 'solution' is to teach them the proper hand position where ALL FOUR fingers and the thumb rest comfortably on the keys and any finger/thumb can play a note without moving the wrist or hand at all.

@1:10 - sorry to be the one to tell you but that 'entire group of notes' is NOT a C major chord. There is no A in a C major chord. No one expects videos to be perfect or for someone to try to 'edit' them to make them so. But I suggest that when mistakes are discovered you post your 'errata' so people don't get confused. Other sites sometimes provide a 'text' overlay like 'oops - I meant C minor' or the like.

Of course the authoritative tone and rather stern demeanour (shades and all) are par for the course. C'mon folks! This is all part of the fun. Zach apologises to his 'victims' at the end and is actually offering FREE lessons for total novices. How many high-priced tutors are doing that, huh? As for the negative comments from some of you viewers, surely you are aware that there are even more risky pranks like posing as mannequins/statues and suddenly coming to life, frightening the heebie-jeebies out of unsuspecting passersby/little kids. What if it causes a cardiac arrest event for those with heart ailments? Zach, maybe to assuage the doubters/detractors/critics you could confirm that prior to all your street performers you did obtain the consent/approval of the building's management and other relevant authorities concerning street entertainment regulations, if indeed that is required (as in the programme "Just for Laughs" (Canadian tv production) the pranksters frequently posed in police/firefighter/security uniforms). Leave nothing to unnecessary chance I say. Since you are asking for song requests as well, do play some extracts please from the likes of the Bee Gees/Beatles/Tina Turner/Dionne Warwick/Diana Ross/ Rod Stewart/Don McLean, the lot. The list is endless really. Gracias.
