I love watching these video’s. I’m really glad you make them and explain what’s going on. It’s really fascinating. I have one thing in common with these cows right now. They have holes and infections on their feet. I also have the same thing on mine. We don’t use the same product to heal them. The both of us have the color tape wrapped around our feet except theirs is a tad bit bigger lol.

This is neglect in its finest ! You can’t compare children to Cows . Children unless they are small babies/ toddlers can verbally tell of their pain if they fall and most parents if they suspected anything would take their child straight to the Hospital not wait and leave things to see how they go only for things to get progressively worse . No not every fall is serious in nature sometimes it’s a case of giving cuddles and kisses to make it better and putting it down to living and learning . Going back to the cow this would not have been an overnight lameness nor would a kiss or cuddle help this poor animal either this ailment had progressively over time become much worse and the Farmer and his Farm hands would have noticed this and the right thing to do would of been to act quickly on day one for the well-being of the cow . I realise this video is over 2 years old now but the point is that cow was left for so long and got to the point that this poor animal was in agony and could of ended up worse cases scenario with an amputation so no the Farmer is 💯 to blame here . I understand the Farmers pay your wages so you probably are limited to what you can say publicly as you’d be out of a job but as an Animal Advocate I will call out the Farmer and his help hands for not doing something sooner . I see this al the time the animals welfare is often neglected but the Farmers don’t stop to think how much that animal has worked for them to bring in their pay days whether it be dairy cows or the poor cows bred for the meat industry . That animal works everyday for them to bring in Farmers wages it’s not a lot to ask to keep the animals on there Farms happy and healthy . Not every Farmer is a bad one there are some good Farmers out there but there are also a lot that will only do something when it’s obvious they have to . We would not treat a person like this so why is it done to animals . I believe just like being a parent you put the needs and welfare of your children first then the same should be said for animals in your care if it’s too much of a problem to do then don’ t get them in the first place 😡😡

Gareth, you should find a way to recycle all the bits of hoof horn that comes from a trim. If it was made into a cream, women would pay hundreds of dollars if you gave it a fancy name! After all, it’s just keratin, isn’t it? Good for hair too.
