Great job! 😀
Thanks, man. This is great. Very helpful.
Thanks. I was on the fence with this game until I saw your video. Ordering it now.
12th Century is NOT Early Middle Ages. 6th Century is early middle Ages .12th Century is High Middle Ages : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_Ages
Oh, I’m peaking at the christite, just try and stop me.
Nice.
You say “um” a lot. I couldn’t cope.
Thank you for your explanation. It was quite helpful. Only a better camera wouldn't be wrong.
I am all for ketchup mechanisms!
Hold the board further away from the camera, then they will focus. Holding a blurry image closer just makes it worse.
Thank you for the explenation. I have one question: why do you say twice that the maket has three resources for each type (wood/stone/sand) while it seems from the image they are 4 for each type?
That was a mistake on my part. The market starts with 4 of each resource, as shown on the board. Sorry about that!
Thank you for the quick clarification. Just played an intense game won by 1 point against 3 members of my family !
How did you manage to get your Game Anywhere table? Many of us lost $ on their KS
I was a backer of their first KS, which fulfilled to many of the backers. I didn't elect to upgrade my table with any integrated options, so I was able to get one before the company disappeared. I never got all of my accessories though, so I'm still out about $200.
Crank is the wizard from hero quest. I'd recognize that dude anywhere.
I just picked this up for 20$, is it worth it? Did you find the game fun?
I enjoy it. It's a lighter weight market timing game, with some luck in the cards.
great explanation , thank you
An excellent explanation, subbed your channel and ordered the game.
Thank you! Nice!!! :)
Thank you... helps a lot. I do sorta want to go back and count the number of times you say "you know' though...;)
What a great explanation! :-)
Excellent job explaining the game. Now looking forward to playing.
I have played this game twice. It is a really awesome game. I have the retail version. One thing about upgrading a wedge, when we distribute the tokens from one wedge, we used our Orders special ability also.
Correct, you can use your Order's special ability to affect token distribution when performing the Upgrade Wedge action. Sorry I didn't call that out in the video. Good catch!
Thanks for posting, this is a great explanation and video.
Thanks for that. I’ve backed it but still waiting in the UK. Looks great.
Thanks for the detailed explainer. I just got my copy and feel much better about setting this up and playing it correctly having watched your video. Well done!
VERY well done. I’ve always been a bit intimidated by this game, but you’re thoroughness and explanation of the theme has convinced me to seek out a copy. Thanks! Hoping that you create more content to share! Happy gaming!
A really good explanation of the game rules. Many thanks
Fantastic job, looking forward to playing this game. I used black sharpy to paint the bands on the perishable barrels and silver sharpy for the non-perishable. Very easy, hold the barrrel at an angle and use the the side of the pen and flick it in 1/4" increments.
Excellent description. ..thanks. ...New subscriber....

Nice job of explaining this G.E.! I always appreciate games with a "historical" genre attached. Plus, its got nicely illustrated game tiles and such.
does the first player token take the place of placing a steamship on the board or do you still get to place three after taking the token?
You still get to place three steamships. Taking first player effectively delays your remaining steamship placements by one turn.
how well does it play with two?
It's been some time since I've played this game, so I don't remember how well it scales down to two players. The poll on BGG says it plays fine with 2 or 3 players, and best with 4.
I kept hoping I'd figure out why the tabletop surface looks like it's setup on beige gymnast mats
Hah! I hadn't thought of it that way. The table is a Game Anywhere Table, model GAT-44, from Transforming Designs Inc. It's a "premium" portable gaming table that folds up; hence the seams. The beige cloth is called speed cloth, and is used for gambling tables. Thanks for watching my video!
how greedy of the designers to divide the players on poor and rich ones.
How is it greedy? There are lots of people who don't want to pay a premium price to have metal coins and whatnot, but those that do have that option. It's nice to have a choice, especially if it's a game that you really think you'd like.
Note: hooligans are still purple in deluxe! The pink are VIPs and/or extra hooligans for particular plot twists
Thanks for checking out my video! The publisher clarified on Kickstarter and BGG that, due to a packing error with the Deluxe version, the 18 pink meeples are the hooligans, and the 10 purple meeples are the VIPs. There is a Plot Twist that adds more than the 10 hooligans to the bag, so you have to use the pink meeples if you're using that Plot Twist. Otherwise, feel free to use the purple meeples.
Great video, good job! I wish I had gotten the Deluxe version instead of the standard one! Question, Where did you get your brown holding trays where you put the dinosaur meeples?
Thank you! The brown trays came with my gaming table, the Game Anywhere Table by Transforming Designs, Inc. I have an information video about the table on my channel if you want to find out more about it.
While explaining the Market phase I mistakenly referred to the Attraction tiles as "Exhibits". They are call "Attractions" in the game. Sorry about that! Also, no Attractions increase the Excitement level of your park.
I salute you sir! What a calm and cohesive way to present games. Quality is excellent as well. Keep it up and thx!
Thank you! I really appreciate the feedback.
Terrific video. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for the review. Question- did i see it correctly ? player playing with Ottoman board and brown pieces have Christian missionaries ?? Seriously ? could they not select another christian nation (Russia) ? or if they wanted to stick with history and include Ottoman empire they should have stick with history and come up with different missionary piece for ottoman.
I agree the clearly Christian missionaries do not thematically fit with the Ottoman board. The miniature molds were created for the original 2007 version of the game, which did not include national player boards (the countries listed in the rulebook were: England, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Denmark). The same molds were used for this updated version, with the only change being to the shape of some of the bases.
Nice job on the video. This is a great explanation of everything going on in the game -- which is a lot! And you were spot on with the rules too, so kudos for that!
I just watched your video to make learning the rules easier and faster. Good to see that you like the game so much :)
Very good video, thank you.
Awesome video! Thank you.
I thought the manual was absolutely horrible, leaving many basic questions unanswered. This video helped a lot.
Best explanation of this game I've seen!
Thank you for the walk through! I appreciate getting a basic understanding of the game setup and what the various components in the game do.
Comparison? Nop. A full explanation it was
+Mario Aguila Sorry, I got a little carried away with the "brief" rules overview. Hopefully you still found the comparative content helpful.
Thanks for the great tutorial! It is much appreciated.
Excellent work.........great explanations. The lighting seems flat which is a shame because the quality of everything else is brilliant! Well done sir!!
+Steve Briscoe Thanks, and sorry about the color saturation. Something went awry with my camera around this time, so a couple of my videos suffered. I now have a new camera I've used for my more recent videos.
you can't quite read the text on the cards
The Body Guard counts as two workers, but does it take up two spaces in the stall? The way you placed it makes it appear to only take up one spot leaving a spot open and a Juice Vendor unclaimed.
+Micah W Great question. The bodyguard takes up only one spot in the stall, but counts as two workers for closing the stall and determining majority.
