    Question- did i see it correctly ? player playing with Ottoman board and brown pieces have Christian missionaries ?? Seriously ? could they not select another christian nation (Russia) ? or if they wanted to stick with history and include Ottoman empire they should have stick with history and come up with different missionary piece for ottoman.

      I agree the clearly Christian missionaries do not thematically fit with the Ottoman board. The miniature molds were created for the original 2007 version of the game, which did not include national player boards (the countries listed in the rulebook were: England, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Denmark). The same molds were used for this updated version, with the only change being to the shape of some of the bases.
