Mt brother broke my chucks leg on axdent is there any way to heal it and my brother is a baby
This was brilliant worked exactly as you said and the chicken wasn’t stressed by it. Thanks
Chickenfeet turning blue. Won't eat either anymore. Stands only half up. A few days ago, I noticed a blue mark, just behind where the feet start. Now 4-5 days later, (she is isolated), she stopped eating and drinking yesterday and the blue mark is bigger. Could this be a hurt leg? Broken?
Very informative, no waste of time , GREAT! Thank-you, I have subscribed.
this is very helpful! thanks for the help :)
Does your store ship to usa
I solved the problem with red plastic glasses. Perfection!
Be very careful when forcing the water. You can make the chicken aspirate it in to the lungs.
What about scabies lice and mites
What about scabies and lights and lights
What happened to chicken if water enter the windpipe ?
I tried this on my sick chicken. It vomited everything up but then died immediately. The video was very informative and helpful for me to try and give my chicken a shot at living.
Chickens are so fragile. So sorry.
Thank you
Please 🥺 help me
عندي دجاجة مصابة بأحد أقدامها وأصابع قدمها معقوفة للخلف وتعرج عند المشي ، أعتقد أنها مصابة بالعصب ،،، الرجاء طريقة علاجها
Hello Google Translate shows your question as: "I have a chicken with an injured leg and its toes are bent backwards and it limps when walking. I think it has a nerve injury. Please, how to treat it?" is that correct? Without seeing your chicken walking, it's impossible to tell what the problem is - it really needs a proper examination, so please take it to a poultry vet - it sounds serious. I'm sorry that I can't be any more help without seeing it for myself. www.claretaylor.com
Thanks so much for this video. I'm in Canada, and it's my first all seasons chicken experience. There is so much to learn with a few before I expand with more. 🤓
"A bit of water." HOW MUCH WATER? A gallon? A mL? A pint? How much water should we give the bird?
Watch the video you will see she is using a syringe so not a pint or gallon .
Thank you
Idiot trying to clear an empty crop wasted my time.
Eveey few hours How many ml total should I slowly syringe with garlic water fluid to my chicken that I treating with spur crop?
Next time use bigger gloves 🙄
💩
The purple treatment is gentian violet paint in a powder form. You can use it for blood noses to stop the bleeding and that comes as a cream. Its good to know your products. Never buy lawn fertilisers again, just use ammonia and dish soap.
I have a bully hen who just stands on the other smaller chicken but she was at the bottom herself not long ago. I might toss her into the potato garden for a few days. I can't separate as I free range. My hens sleep up in the tree house. I could fence off an area, but she will make a huge fuss not being around her friend, the two think that they are mother to each other.
This video was very helpful when my hen was broody. Thank you!
yes. olriщt.
Thank you
I have been googling and googling about impacted crop and this video is just perfect. Thank you so much for your really clear instructions. From it I was able to determine that impacted crop probably isn't the issue, which is an important step in itself.
This blew my mind. I watched your video and went right out and had to clear one of my chicks crops. IT WORKED! I hardly put any water in her crop and way more came out than I put in. She would have aspirated had I not done this. I am going to keep an eye on her to be sure she doesn't have more issues. Here's hoping whatever is causing the problem will so be corrected. Thank you so much.
Thankyou so much!
Do me next 😂
I *love* your jacket.
Thank you. You saved another girls or boys life today. Can’t tell yet.
I have 4 hens that I caught too late on bullying so it spread to most of them because I thought it was mites or lice at first, but nope they're just bullying each other. They have a 4x8 coop along with 2 acres of grass to roam. Along with high protein feed & lots of scraps from a 8 member family, but apparently blood feathers are just too yummy. Thanks for some solutions on fixing it.
How did you fix yours? Mine are all also doing it. I would be interested to know.
Thank you for these tips and the guidance - I had heard about the "dunking" technique but I was very reluctant to try it, just had a bad feeling - your explanation makes so much sense and this method seems much kinder and more ethical.
Such useful information, many thanks!! This is very good to know. Curious how apple cider vinegar is so good for people too.
Thanks and you are so pretty
Isn't it too uncomfortable for the broody to stand/sit on the metal wires in the cage for the whole 3 days? Genuine question, thank you! :) I feel they would be more comfy if that would be some kind of wooden palette with holes on the bottom to keep the air flow (just smth similar, more comfortable). We have a broody hen now but want to try to hatch some chicks - so I'm binge watching all the stuff related to it so we have as much info as possible (we've had hens all our life but never chicks)
What to do if a chick of 1 month has broken his leg
Thank you so very much, Ma'am and Sir, your video pretty much saved my little chick's life! His crop was dangerously enlarged, and because of Good Friday, most vet clinics and services here are closed tomorrow. I tried your procedure, and it worked smoothly! Now my lovely chick is back on his feet again! Thank you, and may God bless you always!
so did your chick vomit out after you did the steps told???
please reply cause my chick is also in the same condition
Thank You Thank you Thank you. I really needed this video fob my little red hen
How will this help get rid of large wads of grass? How can a ball of grass come out through the mouth? Why didn't you demonstrate with a chicken that had an impacted crop?
She explained it in the video. Non of her current chickens had an impacted crop. That’s why she picked a well behaved one to demonstrate on. Speaking for myself and looking at many other comments… the demo was enough to save many first timers in saving countless chickens from suffering and their lives.
If you watched the entire video… she also explained what to do if that didn’t work especially for impacted balls of grass. Surgery with the vet time.
What if you have a chicken that has infected eyes? How can you hold the head?
Danke für das hilfreiche Video🤗🐔
Thank you for your video! Too many talk about everything but what their title is. You got straight to the point and taught me what I needed to know. Awesome!
We have a pullet with what looks like a dislocated leg at the 'knee' bend (the one right above the ankle). She was walking with her foot facing almost completely backwards. We've confined her already, what else would you recommend us doing? Does she maybe need a splint? There's not many vets around her that know what to do with chickens.
Hi there, this is one of the best advices though, what else to do if it's a stubborn hen? Question: Can a hen become egg-bound if spends more than three days in a broody jail? Would greatly appreciate a response. Thanks!
The septi-clense doesn’t seem to be available anymore. What else can be used?
There are styptic liquids and powders available for human wounds.
I'm in the state I'm in Tennessee. I have one that started in January and still going. And another thing you can almost see the relation between dinosaurs and chickens when they are molting especially if they don't have a single feather on them they look like miniature dinosaurs🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🕊🕊🕊🕊🦖🦕🦕🦕
