These lifts are 1990s *Schindler M-series* modded in 2009 with chinese generic fixtures and button replacement and modernized twice in 2010 with the LCD screen added in hall panel or cab(?) I got the same burn on my right leg, stretching 12 inches from under my knee down to my ankle. It hurts like hell when I stand still or let it dangle, but walking is fine; there is no pain, just slight discomfort. Slow-moving pedestrians are extremely unpredictable and can be a hazard to both you and your passengers, so don't be an idiot pedestrian and make way for drivers if the road is extremely difficult to traverse; in my case, a rough, downhill dirt road.

Let me see if I got it right. Whe the economy was really bad he took some bold decisions that everybody critiqued, but with time they were proof right. You propose that he didn't do it out of his own analysis, but rather suggested by some American big brother. At the same time you propose he's a genius, brilliant mind. I don't know,, but I trust better the Ockham principle, the simplest explanation being often the right one. Those 2 benefits (preventing the flee of money and fighting black economy) were easy to see with anticipation and I believe they were discussed at the time and presented as the reason to implement those measures. At the same time, even if he was a genius he has quite a big ego and probably he thought he could persuade the Greek people about dropping the Euro

Back in 2015 nobody (journalist, analyst, economist Politician from any side of the full political spectrum) comprehended fully the impact of Varoufakis action. He was vilified by practically all and the media focused on the bragging comment he has made to his wife at the time: “Honey I shut the Banks”. But Yanis’s master stroke came 8 years later just before the elections of last summer (2023) when he proposed an alternative monetary system to the Euro. This blew up his own party-MERA25 ( which until his announcement all Polls were suggesting it would enter Parliament) but MORE IMPORTANTLY blew up the Main Opposition party (SYRIZA) which was advocating a coalition government with MERA25
