A severe case of Herpes Simplex (cold sores) on a 7 year old child before & 3 days after treatment

Cold sores are usually caused by the herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1). Although it is a relatively mild infection in some cases it can be distressing, disfiguring, painful and can interfere with eating and drinking. This was the case with the 7 year old girl of this video, Emilia, who could not eat or drink and was troubled with pain
