Is it possible to count the color if the cells have multiple conditional formatting rules? It only works when I delete the number and then make the square the color but then I have no value in the cell.

I have followed all of these steps perfectly and all I return is a zero.

Not working... I get the new function, but then trying to select the cell for the colors, I get an error.

Great tutorial. But I have a quick question. Is it possible for the submitted data to go into two different rows in the Data Sheet? This is required for accounting double entry purposes.

When there is an character on the cell, it doesn't count. How to get this done.? Please help

From a mathematical point of veiw, does the order of the names/items affect the outcome. I only have 5 participants with 300 entries, all arranged in alphabetical order.

Set cell A1 to named range of your choice. Use this as the link so if the sheet name changes the link still goes to A1 of that sheet.

Do have a question though for macros...you labeled yours 'filter', which I believe is because of what you wrote in the button so it simply matches. Is that correct? or did you do that because it is filtering the data? I did search in my button so in the macros pop up did the same.

I have been trying to use my old excel 2007 to help a teacher out, I have it putting the grade in the last cell but she would like to show an emoji at the end of an added cell in the row of each student, there are 25 students so 25 rows, each having a different grade. Problem is the Emoji's are not fonts they are images, lots of videos showing doing it for a single cell multiple images but this would require 4 different images ( Emojis ) using one based on the average of the grades for each student, like this video you use fonts, I need to show an image based on grade. Might make a great video, I am sure a lot of teachers would benefit from it. Thanks your a great teacher yourself, I am not overly knowledgeable on excel but usually can figure it out, maybe I am brain blocked at the moment.

How can I highlight entire row if particular cell is blank in a row... And if I enter any text in that blank cell the highlight sjould disappear
