Okay so I have a question for you!! How the heck do you manage to stay calm in the stress of a busy kitchen and not make major mistakes? I have tried to sell my items but the stress of being under time ruined it. When I bake not under time, my creations are beautiful. This problem is what caused me to not open my business
Only 2 times you make the outside all done at once and then the filling. It is also just meant to look like a luxury product that is the most honest reason
My son would be your best macaroons customer! I made him macaroons when he was 4… I found a recipe in the Gourmet magazine. I make them every now and again… he’s now, and sneaks them on the shopping list when he goes to market, or into cart when we go together! This video is a good reminder!
You should have got a cake slice. The raspberry cake slices is one of the best I have ever had. The corn cookie is great too. Unfortunately as they expanded some of the cookies aren’t as good as they were but I still love Milk bar.
They are not hard to make at all . People just don’t want to go through the effort to do it, but you don’t need any special culinary experience or education to make one. All you need is a recipe and follow it. I’ve been making them since middle school. Bakeries charge that much because they can knowing people will pay. And honestly, they’re not even that good.
Only ever ate one at a bridal shower and was not disappointed ive been saving money; I'm too broke for that- my fat ass needs a cupcake or giant donut like the fritters hahaha 😆 😂 I'd need to buy 10 macaroons to get the same "full" feeling as a fritter or cupcake and then I'd only be able to eat that all week as again #brokelife 😅
I find that the best way to get people to buy macarons is to have box deals. For example; if you get a box of 4 you get 5% off, if you get a box of 6 you get 10% off, etc etc. The biggest reason that people don’t get them is that they’re so expensive for such a small amount so by having a “get more, save more” deal people feel like they’re getting more bang for their buck.
Have you considered adding new layers like wafers, chocolate, or a very thin toffee layer? I always liked these, but the texture is very consistent and can get boring over time.
I always wondered why croissants were so expensive, then I learned to make them. I will never complain about the price again. Baking is a labor of love but some sweets are just super labor intensive! I’m just a home baker but I find shortcuts where I can all the time. Brownies are the easiest and so delicious, and chocolate chip cookies certainly aren’t hard, but, much quicker, easier, and so much less work when you make a tray bake or a cookie cake instead and don’t have to chill the dough, scoop and roll them! 🤣 I also just don’t roll them anymore when I do make them. It’s fine 🤣 I also only make drop biscuits now. Especially when I’m making more than one thing, these shortcuts are so helpful.
Controversial opinion, but I think Macarons are overhyped and overrated. They are fine they taste nice, but they don’t trump a chic chip cookie no way. I feel like macaroons black macaroons are just pretentious 😂😂😂
How much does it affect the taste when the cupcakes sit out like that before being bought? Also do you think it would be a good idea to set up a day where you can guarantee customers get a freshly baked warm treat?
Personally im over them they look cute but they kind of all start tasting the same even though theyre meant to be different flavours I love the presentation though
Personally I always found macarons overrated and never buy them in a bakery. They’re expensive and I’m not satisfied with one. I always buy cakes and breads from bakeries. They’re more substantial and I’m happy having a slice of cake or a bread roll.
I hope you can get some doughnuts from Kora doughnuts. They're an order basis though and they sell out fast. Never got to try but want to try my luck again when I'm in New York.
Where is her bakery? Some cookies look amazing 🤤
If you are selling for the masses, they will simply go for whatever is trendy atm. And it hasn't been macarons for a while. That's the sad truth.

Please don’t let yourself get overwhelmed! Set yourself some limits if you find yourself getting super stressed !
The raspberry cake is really good

They are delicious, but I can never convince myself to buy such a little cookie for more than 75 cents. It's literally just a bite.
nutella croissants❤
I love them and wish I could find them near me.
You should open up a second restaurant in another area so you can get more shoppers
I would love to get your macarons!
Want to be your student ❤
I want to be your student love from pak

They don't even taste that good

Best pizza is Previti
I never liked macarons, they just dont taste right
I’ve never tried one. That will be my next dessert to try.
From Singapore 🇸🇬 love ur vids it rlly inspired me
I love macaroons. But they're often expensive.
I've always been curious when it comes to bakeries, what happenes to all those premade bake goods when they don't sell?

i like them, but they all taste the same to me no matter the different flavour profile
Did you chose that esthetic?
Why is she not wearing anything over her head. Sometimes watching how ppl prepare food puts me off eating out
Do you ship to New York City

Try supplying them to hotels, wedding/party planner companies. You don't open expensive shop without already having a market for your product.
Too much of a variety.. id either try everything or not buy a single macaron (more likely, as they're expensive)
Because they’re hard to make correctly
They are lovely to look at and are decidedly a labor of love. But I’ll happily pass these by for your regular cookies. ♥️
“Final reason” doesn’t make sense. If they have short shelf life but are expensive, they won’t be sold as fast
❤

Macarons are great! But really expensive.

I don't like them, never have and never understood the hype. But most people I know still love them.
