Overall I was actually disappointed in the book. In the book there was segregation of the males in females, In Robert's obsession with the female form was a little too much. The only drama that's in the books is who is going to be stationed where and what's their parents thought about his decision, There's no normal drama like love interests, The only thing in the book that counted as any kind of romantic interest was when Carl recommended some young woman who he took out and basically spent all his money. The characters are not tied together at all which is what the movie actually did.

Aristotelian ethics = libertarianism (state is created if needed, and trimmed down if its not) Platonian ethics = communism (state exists whether you like it or not, with a rigid category of rulers vs those who are ruled over). I guess Plato should be left behind then.

When most wealth is concentrated in a few hands, there is simply not enough capital to go around to care for the majority with a basic level of care.
