This windshield seems to be of excellent quality. It's not as dark as I would like, but it looks really good on the bike. Looking forward to putting some miles on the bike with it to see how much wind protection it provides.
Harley-Davidson Switchback Series Derby Cover Install- 2024 Road Glide

Swapped out the factory "117" derby cover for the switchback series derby cover. Derby covers are one of the easiest upgrades you can make to customize your motorcycle. This derby cover has a lot of texture in the design and adds a more aggressive, modern look to the side of the bike. Thanks for watching!
Adjusting Rear Suspension Preload on a 2024 Harley-Davidson Road Glide

In this video, I adjusted the preload for my rear suspension. On my 2023 bike, I never adjusted the suspension. So, with the better suspension on these 2024 Road Glides, I was curious if adjusting the preload would make much of a difference. I'll address it further in a later video, but guys...MAKE THE ADJUSTMENT!!!

I wouldn’t be surprised if that makes an appearance. Definitely a solid idea!
Does this help with passanger wind?
She didn’t notice much difference and said most of the wind she gets is cross wind. I’m a big guy, so my wife has a built in windshield lol
Yeah that ring is a bitch . Needed a band-aid. And seems most dealers just releasing bikes with factory setting, which is at minimal end, and not explaining procedure, or setting it up for you after sale. (Read your manual)
I agree. With the amount you pay, you’d think they would set the preload for you before you leave!
Did you have any clearance issues? Just installed these. Seems pretty close on the right side.
I didn’t have any issues. Everything fit just fine
So, additional question to that for clarity. Mine fit, it’s just tight (about 1/8” clearance on the right side from the swing arm.) Some of what I read, say it shouldn’t be a problem. But it just seems really close. What kind of clearance do you have?

Is that Hog wertz back rest? If so you bought the docking mount as well?
Sissy bar, docking hardware, and sissy bar pad are all Harley-Davidson parts
Do you need to change the air intake and do anything either the ECU also or just install the slip ons? I just ordered a 24 RG and am patiently (impatiently 🤣) getting ideas of mods before it comes in.
You can run slip-ons without tuning the bike. I ran my last bike that way. I will say the air cleaner and tune are worth it, though. Opens everything up!
Great addition to your bike, it looks awesome. Do you need to do any tuning after install? I'm going to be installing the same exhaust on mine and like the look of this air intake. Just wondering if it's a "plug & play" or does anything else need to be done? Thanks
Thanks! I used the HD Pro Street tuner, which is extremely easy to use. Once plugged in, you use your phone to do all the programming. This way it helps correct the air/fuel ratios and such. If you’re changing the air cleaner and adding slip-ons, I would definitely go ahead and do a stage 1 tune so everything runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

You can always put shorter springs on the bike.

Me and my neighbor had to use a 2x4 and mallot to put the right side on. But it worked. Apparently Rineharts are known to have this problem. Also, try a lil lube. 😅 I didnt but I've seen other videos that did.
You can put some anti-seize on the inside of the pipe and that may help. A lot of times it just takes some finesse and a lot of patience!

She had no complaints for around-town riding, but she said she wouldn’t want to take a longer trip on it. She definitely prefers the new Saddlemen!

Yea, I have been waiting since mid march for the rear guards as well. Frustrating, considering every CZcamsr with a significant following has received a set and the rest of us who paid for them have been waiting for months. I’ve not looked into highway pegs! I can actually reach the bars themselves for a change in position if needed. Thanks for watching!
Wgat did it to to seat height?
Honestly didn’t notice much difference. I didn’t do any type of measurements, but I don’t believe the height changed much. Definitely sat me back a bit since I got the extended reach. The Harley seat isn’t bad, but the Saddlemen is definitely superior.
The dbx 45 17 and later fit on 2024?i check on site in my country and is said not fit on 2024?
I know they fit the USA bikes, I can’t say for sure on anything out of the country!
Is there a tune for that now
I used the Screamin’ Eagle Pro Street tuner when I installed it. Very simple, programmed it from my phone using Bluetooth!

Thanks for the video - I bought the Corbin Wall seat with backrest but I wanted a second seat for small trips. Was looking at these and did like the Carbon Fiber and I'm glad I saw it on your seat like it. So on your build looks like the the Carbon Fiber is just in the seating areas...and the rest is just black vinyl ...?
Yes it is. There is a band around the top and sides that is just plain black, but the majority of the seat is carbon fiber. These are made very well. I’m anxious to get it broken in!
Is the 10” high enough at 6’3”? I thought you would have needed the 12” to avoid buffeting.
I tend to start with the smaller size and see what benefit I get and then move up if needed because I don’t like the look of massive windshields. With the adjustable vent and 10” wind splitter, it was a big improvement over the stock setup. I’ll have to give it some time to fully review since we’ve had some crazy cross winds here lately!
@@ICUon2wheelsAny feedback on the 10” vs 12” now that you have had a chance to ride it? About to get mine and still on the fence. I am 6’1” but high torso so prob equivalent to 6’3” on a bike. Like you I would probably start with 10” and go from there… Thanks in advance!
Sorry for the late reply! I’ve only tried the 10”, but I get pretty solid protection with it when I have the vent adjusted. Haven’t even thought about getting the 12”!

Out of curiosity, Do you think there is a market for custom covers like that? Reason why I am asking is because run an Aerospace manufacturing company and sometimes we have slow months. I am looking for possible products we can make that just might have a market. For example this cover. I am thinking stuff like a motorcycle club name or emblem. A "Lest We Forget" the picture of a soldier standing over his brothers grave. that sort of thing.
Absolutely. Especially if you had the capability of making custom logos and stuff like that!
Hi, I noticed you have different grips on your bike, this new throttle by wire grip is all one piece, how did you do that? Thanks.
These are actually the stock grips for the 24 model. Harley does have grip options for the new models and from what I’ve seen, changing them is very easy

It’s possible, as with any major redesign. Time will tell! I know there are still quite a few bugs to work out

Can you install the tuner without having to take it to dealer. Is this a complete do it yourself install or does the dealer have to get their hands involved too?
It’s all done via Bluetooth on your phone! Very easy to do.
They definitely need to make a better wrench, I adjusted like you did and it was quite a pain to turn the adjustment ring while trying to keep the wrench on the ring. Great video

I have the risers, just waiting on Thrashin to release the mid-bend bars for the 24’s. Pretty much refreshing the site daily lol. They said it will be end of April before they are available!

@@ICUon2wheels hardly any restriction at all, I think it’s not much different than having no filter at all.

There is a big difference. Hard to really hear tone in a video, but the slip-ons really open the bike up and sound great. I will say, the stock exhaust for the 2024 touring models sounded better than they have in the past, though!

Notice any power increase with the breather and tuner?
Absolutely. Definitely opens her up. Plus, you can create a custom mode based off the sport mode already programmed… increase the throttle response and the bike feels like an absolute rocket.
Debating between these or khrome works 4.5’s
I really don’t think you could go wrong with either. I’ve heard great things about khrome works as well. I was torn between these and the TAB bam sticks!
Fab28 makes some nice slip ons as well
I have said this a bunch of times most Harley guys do builds and mods and for the most part they all use the same stuff, none of their bikes stand out from one another.
The way I see it, as long as you’re enjoying your motorcycle and the sense of freedom that comes with riding, that’s all that matters!

Kinda seems useless to me, aside from esthetics. Looks like you end up laying on the floorboards way before these would do anything. At least the stock bar had some low end protection. Does look good though.
I believe this bar extends out further than the stock one. Floorboards will give way and hinge upward, so in the event of a tip-over, they shouldn’t be much of an issue. It would be nice to have a visual on that, though. Maybe once I get the bag protection on, I’ll lower the bike down in a controlled setting to see the clearance.
It will save your floorboards don’t listen to what that lunk head said. Just a suggestion the music you have railing in the background makes it difficult if not impossible to hear you talking. If I may suggest ditch the music it sucks anyway… 👍🏻 thanks for the video I’m doing mine tomorrow…

I don’t have any issues hitting my leg on the air cleaner like I did with the street glide st.
Had me on the edge of my chair hoping you wouldn't scratch the front fender on install until you used the fender cover....you scared me :) lol
Hahaha me too! I had it on there at first, but had issues with it getting in the way. Then eventually put it on backwards and it worked a little better! Probably would have been easier to lay down some painters tape or something that didn’t get in the way!
