Adjusting Rear Suspension Preload on a 2024 Harley-Davidson Road Glide

In this video, I adjusted the preload for my rear suspension. On my 2023 bike, I never adjusted the suspension. So, with the better suspension on these 2024 Road Glides, I was curious if adjusting the preload would make much of a difference. I'll address it further in a later video, but guys...MAKE THE ADJUSTMENT!!!

They definitely need to make a better wrench, I adjusted like you did and it was quite a pain to turn the adjustment ring while trying to keep the wrench on the ring. Great video

Yeah that ring is a bitch . Needed a band-aid. And seems most dealers just releasing bikes with factory setting, which is at minimal end, and not explaining procedure, or setting it up for you after sale. (Read your manual)

I agree. With the amount you pay, you’d think they would set the preload for you before you leave!

You can always put shorter springs on the bike.
