Thanks for this video. It encouraged me to try it this way. I think it went easier for me than you. I have a huge assortment of tools which helped a lot. Cost me only 115 dollars for the starter. Started right up after installation.

Wait the one on the side of the top post, does it have a wire running into it? I’m in the process of removing the starter but didn’t get pictures of how the wires went and don’t want to mess up. I only see the power cable with the two wires running into it is that all I need?

Thanks And I’m not even sure my starter is bad. Just what the battery people said. Ugggh. Could be alternator, I think. Cause last time I started, I accidentally left the car running for 24 hours. Battery was low but not fully charged.

Well, that helped me get it off and open. Found a pack of Parmesan Cheese behind the drawer blocking it, but it broke those tabs off and now slides out freely if pulled. This has always been my issue with cars. People will say just push this and it will click open or stop back on, but these systems are not really meant to be opened once put together.

Dude less talk,more information, why post a vid of you talking,and not trouble shooting, you have to much time on your hands,take tour time with the job,and do more editing 🤦🏾‍♂️

2016 has a latch on boths sides. Almost got stuck in between the front two seats whole trying to use two screwdrivers on each side to pop the tabs. Thank you for the video! Very informational! We had a stack of post-it notes and alcohol pads from previous owners stuck in our so it wouldn't close. A whole handful of stuff! Lol

It was exactly the fuse behind the engine inside the plug . Man you saved me from going to a shop. So simple. Great video.

Gunna do mine this way of pulling out the wheel well but if you have enough extensions you can get both bolts from underneath,also yes to get more leverage you can use 2 wrenches but use the closed ended side to loop around open ended side thats how you hook them together

I think maybe your right tab is broken because my car I had to depress both sides.

Ya that was super helpful! Was stuck for years and took no more than thirty minutes! Got some old membership cards unstuck - lol.. One thing different I my 2012 was there was a “drawer stop” on the right side , not left.. maybe my left side might have broken in some yanking in the past! Anyways watching your video was encouraging enough that the entire dash doesn’t have to tone off.. Appreciate the demo…
