Great video! Saved me a lot of high blood pressure time. I noticed that when I took mine out that there was a tab on the opposite side that broke off. But you know I do not care cause now it comes out easier with only one tab to worry about. Way to go and thanks!

2016 has a latch on boths sides. Almost got stuck in between the front two seats whole trying to use two screwdrivers on each side to pop the tabs. Thank you for the video! Very informational! We had a stack of post-it notes and alcohol pads from previous owners stuck in our so it wouldn't close. A whole handful of stuff! Lol
Thank you so much! My wife put a sealed BBQ sauce cup in there, closed the tray, the thing burst in the tray and fell behind it. Ugh. One note though, ours is the 2012 touring edition and it had the tab from hell on BOTH sides. This made it extra difficult, even after I figured it out. It's really tough to get both of them popped at once, took me a good 10 minutes of trying even after I figured out there were 2 tabs.
You're a saint, lost a pen cap back there, drawer would not close, could not figure out how in the heck to get the drawer out. Thank you so much! BTW the 2015 has a latch on both sides.
I have a 2012 and it had tabs on both sides. I broke them both off so I never have to deal with this problem again. The tray goes in and I can pull it all of the way out easily now. I highly recommend it! 😆 Thank you so much for this video!

One thing different I my 2012 was there was a “drawer stop” on the right side , not left.. maybe my left side might have broken in some yanking in the past! Anyways watching your video was encouraging enough that the entire dash doesn’t have to tone off.. Appreciate the demo…

Maybe your right side clip was broken, I did the left and it was still caught up on the right side but did the same to that side and was able to FINALLY get this thing out!!
Thank you! I tried so many times to take it out but couldn't figure out where the stopper was. Mine has the stoppers at both sides. Now that I got the tray out, there was a bunch of napkins and tissues in the back. LOL
Well, that helped me get it off and open. Found a pack of Parmesan Cheese behind the drawer blocking it, but it broke those tabs off and now slides out freely if pulled. This has always been my issue with cars. People will say just push this and it will click open or stop back on, but these systems are not really meant to be opened once put together.
For some there is a similar tab on the other side. Really appreciate the video as it helped me to find the right path.
