@@myotismon767Yes! I was at Halifax Shopping Centre with my girlfriend over a week ago and we saw that there’s a new elevator. It’s in the former Sears building where Simons, Winners Relocation, PetSmart, Dollarama Relocation, a restaurant space, and one other secondary space are just opening. PetSmart opened last month, Winners Relocation opened yesterday, Simons opens on March 21, and the Dollarama Relocation will follow. I’m guessing these elevators are now modded by CKG? That’s great news! These were vintage 1983 death traps! Opened as Simpsons Relocation in August 1983, and was converted to Hudson’s Bay in August 1986 (along with with other 2 Nova Scotia locations).

Sometime last year, me and my family went to this mall and I saw that there was green and orange tape all over the door of the elevator and the call button. I think maybe it got floodwater in the shaft due to flooding in the mall and most of Bedford in July. Sadly, I think this classical elevator is being modernized.
