This scene was one that one done so well that I was emotionally and (so I'm told) visibly angry by the end of it...
Not sure if anyone has ever pulled off this kind of ambush and escape of a prisoner successfully. But I feel like if they make it policy where if they are ambushed, they are authorized to just waste the prisoner. It would definitely give anyone pause before trying it as their objective could end up dead.
