Our ski journeys through the Italian Dolomites are called 'Ski Safaris.'
You spend each night in a high mountain hut [Rifugio] and ski off on fresh tracks each and every morning.
We tend to stay away from others, to follow our own routes.
We don’t like crowds and we believe that the best experiences are always shared with a few friends.
It is better to BE A TRAVELLER, not a tourist.

That looks amazing
At beginning you said fresh tracks? I see fresh courderoy groomers. No disrespect intended, it looks like a great run.
I ski here and the lifts open at 8:30 So congrats on the effort to be the first people on the mountain 🎉
I also ski here been coming for 10 years now wow. Anyway I’m pretty sure the lifts open at 8:15 or 8:00 because getting up 1+2 or 2000 takes about 20-25 mins
@@BocsedBut now they are going to make a new lift so the opening is at 8:30 but tbh I never checked at what time do the lift start 😅
@@Xv2boxed200 new lift?
@@Bocsed yes they are going to make it this summer
I think unless they do it in 2025
Why is there a guy riding his mountain bike down the slope at 11:03?
I'm not impressed old man. A lot faster is possible. You know the run to the new blue gondola, (you know which one) I saw a reckless guy, I could keep up but wasn't able to pass him because he went so fast. At the end of the run I saw he was a old man too. Very impressive. So no excuses.
Is the red from the top of Marmolada fairly doable for an intermediate(ish) skier ?
What do you do with your dogs when out skiing? We have a golden who would love the snow. But leave her with our breeder back home, as we can’t walk her during lunch and give her the attention a dog needs during the day. Kind of wondering if there is a walking service or dog daycare in the alps😅
Super video! I was there at 2018. Also had a run on blue Innamorati but looks different. Which track is this?
Found it is starts from La Rasei Thanx again for the super video!
Pucci, Salty, Princess, (Nipper we dont see) Zen and Stumpy. LT is the only one still with us
such a great film, all our wonderful pets featured in this video but one are now gone.
amazing environment, great skiing technique and great comments. I really want to go to Dolomites! Thank you for your videos, truly a gem.
Che pista👍❤❤❤❤
In Colfosco considering the temperature the snow conditions are good. Did Marmalda today hard work but was good.
Baita Paradiso❤❤❤
Now I know what SAN Pellegrino looks like ( in sunshine) 😅 have been there on 3 (or 4) Safaris and never saw the sun 😮 beautiful!
dream life. Italians are so creative
Are there also nice blue (wide) ski runs from the top? Thank you.
Discovered your channel today and enjoying the content. The educational points whilst skiing down. Thank you
so nice.... I was in Dolomiti last month, but missed this place... 😥
Lagazuoi. Die schönste, 7km lange Naturschneeabfahrt der Dolomite.❤❤❤
Looks like a dream come true
Great slope, have been there.
Nice! ... 😀👍
Beautiful ❤
My favorite run of our week
Mine too! 🎉
Amazing.
And some people would rather be bowling 🎳.
Really?😂
Cool video, greetings from Bavaria
Очень красиво !
Hi Tim. I've been following the Inspired Italy CZcams channel for a couple of years now. The update videos are terrific for getting a good idea of the snow conditions. We usually ski out of Corvara, but the shorts are still very helpful. I'm very curious as to what device you record with, and the editing software you use? Keep up the great work. Hope to see you on the slopes in February. Cheers Steve , Sydney Australia.
Happy new year! Thank you showing us the beautiful Dolomites
Just watched this video for the second time. Absolutely beautiful from top to bottom. I love Cortina❤
I will be there in 6 weeks. Can’t wait.
Wow! That accommodation looks fantastic. Q…. What happens to the luggage you can’t carry in your backpack?
You can’t take it with you. 😉
We were there in summer time. It’s such a beautiful place
❤
Super intro to Kronplatz. Where best to stay (thinking long weekend)?
Awesome..I have recently bought a home one hr north of Rome .im living in America but want to come ski the Dolomites .is there a train I could take from Rome ? To a ski mountain in the Dolomites ?
Hey Shawn! Yes! Take the Frecciarossa to Bolzano at around 7h then take a taxi or bus to the Val Gardena or just book a ski safari with us and we'll help you with all of the details. www.Inspireditaly.com
Looking forward! 😅😂😊
Likewise 😃!
Skiing during covid while we all stayed home ?
Hello,I’ve never seen so much snow on the flat sloped mountain in the background, think we are in for a great season.
Monte Piatto or Sasso Piatto is a stunning mountain and yes, there's a good amount of snow around!
Promo sm ☹️
I see that you have come to plan de coronez I will guess that you are on the silvester run?😅😊
Yes! It's a wonderful run! Do you like it?
I do it every time I get on top of the mountains
When I went there in February it was full of people!!!!😮
Yes, it is a popular place! Top tip: get there early!
This is a masterclass in how to create a CZcams ski video.
Thank you Charles. We really appreciate your comments 🙏
Actually you missed a little piece of the Sylvester slope, included two nice littel black wall, one of those inside the wood. That is actually a beautifull part of the slope. Instead, you went by the esiest variant of the slope, slowing down streight from the pic of the mountain
Hello Matteo, we started our run from Rifugio CAI where we had stayed. I am not aware of the varient that you mention. The goal is to film the main slope so that people can see what it's like. Thanks for your comment. I'll look out for this when I'm there in a few weeks time.
Half of this fairy tale is narrow cat track paths where you just constantly trying to kill speed rather than carve and enjoy skiing. They get very nasty beat up and iced after mid day and then you try to survive on them. Why is it fairy tale again?
Hello Oleg! Like any slope, there are good days, bad days and some in between. The Dutch lady I spoke with named the slope and I have to say, given that I ski this slope probably 20 to 30 times a season, she captured the essence of La Longish, at least for me!
Beautiful video! I am curious to ask, why you don't consider Kronplatz as good for beginners? I am 38 years old and started skiing 8 years ago, but didn't collect more than 30 ski days in total so I consider myself a beginner. I was 2 days in Kronplatz in march this year and was completely blown away how good this ski resort is. I have never ever seen such nice, wide blue slopes as there. For me as a beginner skier those were 2 best days of skiing so far. How would you rate this Sylvester slope? From 1 to 10 of all black slopes you skied so far, would you say it is on the easier or tougher side? I have never ever skied any black slope and eventualy I want to try one and would take one that is not so hard. Since I will be back in Kronplatz this winter maybe I will try one :)
if you want to try that slope, do as they did, do it first thing in the morning when its groomed. Corduroy !! it will make it far easier. if it gets moguley... it will be a real challenge. so stick to black groomed runs. first off in the morning is when you want to hit it. good luck.
Did I say that? Well, if I did, I am wrong! Kronplatz is like any ski great area, it has runs for everyone! Could you ski Sylvester? As Jim says above, as slow, steady and thoughtful approach early in the day before the masses have made their impact and I am sure that you could do it. There are different lines to follow, so just take your tie, enjoy it and let me know when you've done it!
My mother lives in Balzano we go here every year and this is by far my favourite run of the resort!
Youa re lucky to have your Mum so close! see you on the hill!
Are you still offering these bike tours? If not, any recommendations?
Hello Arthur, unfortunately not! Try Cycling for Sofies, they bought our business and still run the same trips!
NIce. LOVE this piste but like many people i head under the lift to the left and start from that steep slope, once thet levels out a bit its fucking amazing!
When did you last ski it? Last season after the race, they put up some fencing to change the routing which kind of destroys the integrity a little. But hey, the Saslong is the Saslong!
