Was here for the beta and I can say the game got issues but leffen here is just complaining about anything like ”sound mixing" which is good btw and the slower gameplay is better since beta was spam fest and dodge fest now you have to be more cautious about what you do which is fine

League of Fighters would have been a way better name imo. so it can correlate with the name League of Legends (if there isn't a game with that name already)

Weird to say “monetization hell” when the game is free? You can earn characters through playing the game, daily logins, leveling characters up, events, and im assuming even more ways coming soon. Would you rather pay $60 for the game and get the base characters? I personally rather play for free and unlock the characters i want as time goes on. It’s been a week and i already have 9k fighter currency🤷🏽‍♂️ now the skins are expensive asf so thats kinda an L but the game is free.. they have to make money somewhere

Bro just watching it looks miserable. I played the beta and thought it was a decent game not anywhere close to melee but not bad, but this is unplayable.

It almost seems like they want it to fail. It's like a tax write-off or something lol.

Idk i just started playing it last night and km enjoying it.

The first two days I didn’t like it, but I will it’s growing on me all they have to do is up the by 1.5 , revert the perk system and put damage back in I’ve been using the new defensive mechanics and I came from tekken so I like punishing unsafe moves that’s where it seems like they pushing towards now it’s not by far a finished product but I do have faith think we should give them some time to cook

The gameplay genuinely looks slowed down. Why they would make a slow game even slower is a mystery to me. Even with the awful monetization garbage, I can’t imagine ever wanting to play this.

I actually like the speed, because now you can actually pull combos on people and not be a spam doge zoom through the whole map bs. And when you watch CZcamsrs pulls combos you can actually understand whats happening

THIS GAME IS VERY, VERY GRINDY......... but is a a good grindy....... I guess it doesn't feel too long, it doesn't feel pay2win, it feels kinda like fortinite even though I never played fortinite but it still has too many currency types and I much prefered the basic:'' one currency for free stuff and the other currency for paid stuff'' system but that is just a nitpick

The game needs a TON of work still, which is annoying cuz it was just offline to be worked on for over a year. But it did need to be slowed down from beta, at least the amount of dodges and invincibility gained from them. I don't think a dodge attack taking half your meter is a bad thing, it allows you to use a defensive resource for offensive pressure and the existence of the dodge meter itself allows the game to have an actual disadvantage state instead of essentially ledgedashing around the entire stage and having to guess where their invincibility ended (beta MVS). Not every game needs to be as fast as melee. MVS still has fun gameplay, after you play it for a bit you definitely get into a groove and the game flows really well. I really appreciate it being more focused around 2v2 as well. It's a really, really fun game that is plagued by extremely poor choices by the developers.
