Just to clarify a few things, the party members Rex fights aren’t what those characters think of him, they’re manifestations of what Rex fears. He’s scared of rejecting and hurting Nia, scared of betraying the trust placed in him by Morag, of taking advantage of Gramps, and so on. Zeke would never say anything like that to Rex, but because of his internal doubts his belief that he’s not good enough comes out of the mouth of someone he looks up to. Since the characters saw their deepest fears, I wouldn’t be surprised if Nia saw herself being rejected and hated not just by Rex but everyone she trusts, or Zeke being confronted by how he didn’t stop Amalthus or how he and Pandoria and now dependent on each other. Which is why the scene with Pyra and Mythra is important. It’s Klaus testing to see how Rex reacts when he is able to be happy even if everyone else isn’t, and it results in him breaking down. Rex can’t conceive of himself being happy if other people are suffering. Speaking of, Klaus is super interesting. The separation of the Architect and Zanza isn’t a split between good and evil, but rather a matter of memory. Klaus was both someone who wanted to make the world a better place and someone with a god complex. The thought that if he had the power, then no one would suffer. So when he was split in half, one ended up in a new universe as a god with no memories, a clean slate. Meanwhile the other was left in a world he had murdered, alone with nothing but the power he desired. This is what separates Klaus from Zanza, one got everything he wanted but forgot why he wanted it in the first place, and the other lost everything he held dear and was forced to remember.

Slight misconception on how the visions worked. Each person saw visions of their own. Rex saw what he feared the others thought of him. He is afraid Nia resents him for ignoring her. He is afraid Morag and Zeke’s time has been wasted. That Tora and Poppi are jealous of him. They saw the fears in their own hearts. Extrapolating from this, Nia probably saw everyone hating her for being a flesh eater. Tora was judged for too young or not a “real” driver. Also, I never see it brought up much but the core crystals being computers means that the only difference between proper blades and artificial blades is the materials. Since Poppi and Lila are mechanical while bodies like Pyra, Dromarch, and Pandoria’s were build with organic material assembled by the cloud sea in accordance with the code crystal’s accumulated data. Amalthus’s “cleansing procedure” was him stripping the evolution data from cores, preventing them from maturing into titans.

I'm so happy they nerfed Beatrix with the tyrannosaurus killing axe. Her gameplay was awfully unfair and unbrained. Now she's still extremelly powerful and simple, but you have to at least think a little.

I like Amalthus, I just dislike how he was portrayed. Poor taste to just portray us Christian’s as villains in every facet of media. Which is obviously the intent. Tho pessimism is a hell of a driving force even within me. I relate to Amalthus. But even the Bible says to hate the world & the sin, not the people. But it is hard to separate the two, tho Amalthus doesn’t understand that hating the creations of God is equivalent to hating him. That’s why it’s hard to hate how they portrayed him. Because every group, even us Religious folk, act unGodly & do not obey the Bible as we should. There are unfaithfuls, those that claim to be Christians but are false believers living in fear & laziness, false prophets on power trips, but that’s not what should represent us. Same with police or racial tensions. We should understand that some people do not & should not represent the entire group.

It's even deeper than them hiding it till the tease in chapter 7, in a pre launch interview the director even said "they're only connected and linked in the sense that they’re linear and story-driven games.” So it's very much the intention to save all the crazy connective tissue to the end like this.
