They intubated my husband without his or our consent. His oxygen level was in 90s he bagged not to be intubated and put on ventilator and now he is dead. Ventilators kill not Covid. I had Covid I have copd while my husband never smoked he ate healthy worked out. Never even cranked alcohol. First they gave him oxygen mask we were FaceTiming he was fine, then they said they will put him on nasal cannula and they lied they intubated him. They called me to tell me I went crazy I have proof from one nurse saying he did not wanted to go on ventilator. Dr told me he was capable making decisions. How can one make decisions while he was given morphine lorazepam and Xanax prior to intubation? They killed him made him suffer 7 weeks on vent. I was visiting him I saw lot of negligence while they will turn him prone him they dropped him he had bumps swollen eye blood in forehead. I then asked dr to check his ventilator because sats where dropping and they found leak in ventilator I have recorder that I put on his room at night. His medicine machine kept beeping all night his throat was making weird noises and guess what for 8 hrs recording no one entered his room. I am working on it to have all the dr and nurses fired.

This debate is from June, 2021, before Omicron. As we are now, in January 2022, weighing our options, I think it would be better to be transparent about the date of this discussion. It precedes Omicron. Whether or not the participants use have changed, I would appreciate it if you would add a description clearly stating the context and date of this debate.
