He once took me back to the locker room after a game when I was like 13 and stole a pair of Brandon Roy’s shoes for me. Nicest and most humble NBA player ever!
One of the most crafty, effective, consistent, unselfish, underrated & under appreciated players of all time. His time in Portland was nothing short of absolutely wonderful.
Such and awesome guy! I was his Uber driver today he never once mentioned he was and professional Athlete.
wow thats awesome, you get a pic with him
Yes. He is super humble. He was blue collar college and NBA player. I'm glad u got to meet him
My favorite 50 point game of all time. Andre Miller was a national treasure
"It's even better to get the win. That's all that matters." - Andre Miller. A great team player.
I molded my game after Andre. Mid range mastery, solid defense, and open court vision with a "details first" mentality, wish he was more appreciated during his career. Top 10 in assist all time and never was an all star.
4:14 “What a game you had tonight.”
“Yeah..” hahaha I love it. Andre Miller rules
Basketball savant. It’s a rare gift. The joker in Denver has got the same kind of gift. Just a joy to watch both of these guys.
this man is 6'2 and killing it in the post. AND SHAWN MARION IS GUARDING HIM tf
I hope you see this. Lol.
I lost a friend and his birthday was recently.
I thought if something that made me laugh.
It was an Andre Miller story.
We had a mutual friend high school teammate who went on to play D-1, mid major.
He matched up against Andre Miller while he was at Utah. A game we all attended.
My friend had one of his best games, came off the bench scored 15.
Miller had a terrific stat line, but was quiet. The Utes had Van Horn and he was as good as advertised.
Years later, we’d all hook up and were watching a game, betting on 2K,
and suddenly after a few drinks, my homie blurts out, “ IDGAF, Andre Miller was the best player I ever played against!”
He wasn’t even playing in the game,
nobody was playing with him on 2K…
It was random and funny AF,
He went back to that game when he matched up in college. He had never talked about it before, ever…. Cause we were happy our homie scored 15 against a nationally ranked team (they lost by 20)
But he said Miller was so humble, and so got damn strong. He would just laugh every time I tried to hand check him.
Said it tickled cause my hands were soft”
Man.
We laughed so hard.
To this day.
We will send random text
“iDGAF Andre Miller the best player ever”
I can remember how we all text each other when Miller had his 50 point game.
My friend was an extremely athletic 6’5
I know Marion was 6’7
instantly I thought about how easy Miller made it look against my friend.
Always loved my man Dre. Loved hearing Mike Rice lose it after every basket😂😂
Haha Rice was crackin me up
one of the best post up player PGs to ever play the game 🔥
Him and Sam Cassell are my favorites down in the post in terms of guards
one of the primest examples of someone that you would give the highest honor that is not a franchise player. IMO some of the great level players like miller of this era that had played for multiple teams, or (for the money as some might say) really miss just how many fans, and teammates players like this affect and directly impact into bettering the game. Players like andre, jamal crawford, or lou williams talking high # of teams coaches diff home arena, players know a very rare aspect of the game and with it love. Which demands respect IMO. None of them are similar players in exact ways. They were all championship caliber players that just never had a real shot on a roster, To me theyre worthy of being respected among the greats of their era IMO. Though watching miller was sure just the damn best way the game should be played. It was so pure and sound. Imagine if he was drafted as a franchise player for SAS and got to play his entire career in that system. Instead he was able to bless many different home team fans, as well as coaches and teammates with their ability which to me is as equally amazing. Here we have an example of him facing up against Kidd an all time great of his era, and hes completely dusting his ass, Im a laker/kobe fan ive had this guy on notice for years, hes in my dream team of this era LOL just because real talk you know what you just saw 4:53 pure facts. This is why or how you wind up as one of the most underrated/disrespected players in the league, the space allowed or level of attention they pay to defending this guy really helped him get half the looks he got in his career, the other half were from his solid skill and play. But TBH hes always going to go down as an underrated player and to me i always respected his "Killer instinct" to take advantage to the space and times bigs wouldnt pay attention to clog the lane if he was going to work.
I'm here, after listening Raymond Felton talk about him and Sam Cassel...
He had a hard time defending these two...
Andre Miller was a great player. Very smart, very crafty and he came to play every night.
A point guard taking it in the post dropping 50+ w/o shooting 3’s 💪🏻
He had a crazy mid range
Andre was never on my team, but I loved it when I got a chance to see him play his old man game & his street smarts. He couldn't jump over a piece of paper, but his BBIQ was off the charts and I really enjoyed watching him game the guys on the other team with his wits. He wasn't a superstar, but he's one of my top 10 players that I enjoyed watching. Elgin Baylor was and is my #1.
Lmao first time I've ever heard him talk.
jaee hovaa didnt expect that voice
He might be the most consistent point guard ever lol. Not gonna drop 20 every night, but knows how to run a team and limit mistakes. What else can you ask for?
Ahithana’s Dormant Penis I think he only missed 11 games in his career or something absolutely ridiculous. Never got hurt
No disrespect to Andre Miller. But Stockton was more consistent. Also only missed 22 games out of a 19 season career. 18 were in one season and 4 were in another. Played 82 games ever other season.
@@floyd9727 “No disrespect to Andre Miller but John Stockton was more consistent” what a scorching hot take
I met him when I worked at American Airlines Arena in Dallas. Great guy, very humble and nice. Enjoyed watching him play each time he played there.
All these years I thought he never made a 3 in this game.
never dunked?
Same
Man I forgot he did this to Kidd and the mavs. That's 52 and a W against a division winner with a couple future hall of famers
He was one of my favorite players he was a baller. He played smart.
I am watching all of Andre miller dribble moves. No wasted motions clean in the box dribbling. And still got the cleanest 50 piece seen to date. Said all that to say this, nobody can say that 80s or 90s legends couldn’t play in the NBA right now. Look at there game and look back at this from Andre. Tell me you see a big difference.
i want him to play BIG3!!!!!!! BEST POSTING GUARD EVER
I remember watching this game live and he was cooking from the start. It just seemed like he was going to have a crazy game. I didn’t expect 52 points though 😂
I remember watching this game and sweating so hard and then I saw Dre with the ball and was like okay we got a chance. Hell of a game.
Miller's 52 > Booker's 70
Wrong
Absolutely! That Phoenix game became a joke in the 4th quarter. Disgraceful. Old man Andre was scoring in a tight game against JKidd and elite defenders in Howard and Matrix. Just crazy!
@@Las-yv5id facts, super impressive, only a few threes too
@@christians.1579 Nah bro, not even a few - he hit 1/1 threes haha! AND he was averaging 12 ppg that season. Just wild.
!!!
soooo humble
underrated
He just seems like a good dude!
Maaaan! DID I JUST WATCH KOBE MOVES FROM HIM? What's more shocking is when I noticed that he wears #24!! Daaaaamn goosebumps #hegotMAMBAMENTALITY
Rice cracked up after every made basket loll...and btw what a coaching staff on that Dallas bench - Carlisle, Stotts and Casey
MOST HUMBLE SUPERGREAT PLAYERS EVER
that classic Bay Area vs LA battle (Kidd vs Miller)
Crazy how Kidd never played for the Warriors but Dre got to play for the Clippers.
I remember this, andre decided he'll be michael jordan in this game 😂
Loves it
No 3 pt fgs made? An old school guy, Awesome
3:37
Underrated
Every once in a while I remember this game and remind people of the most boring 50 point game in league history. Just made it all simple and easy. Amazing.
He gave Jason Kidd work jesus
Such and underrated low post scorer standing at 6'2
He’s my cousin
Andre Miller is a pimp!!
Look how different the offense is. 3rd quarter at 9 minutes only 52-54 wow lol
He should be a coach
Closest michael jordan type game with a little bit of kareem skyhook this dude is unbelievable
When shawn Marion starts to guard you, man u are a problem !!! Andrew miller, humble underrated consistent nba player. His voice is so soft
Did you come here after JR take on JJ podcast ? Yeah same
1:11 watch Jason Kidd🤣
I remember this guy use have a bad jumpshot he got better at it though sort of like kidd
01:19 04:05
Great game but he sound allergic
The ugliest 50 piece in history but I always respected andre Miller's game
ugliest?? nahh bruh that is having real skill and craftiness
@@pololorice I mean that in a good way. Let's be real who would think that Andre would be putting up a 50-piece as a role player well into his career?
@228allday Ugliest? Yeah, no. I think the right thing to say would simply be unexpected & he was also much more than just a role player.
@@228allday A player who has almost 17.000 points 1.700 steals and 9.000 assists is definetelly not a role player. Ok, he is not a super star but a very very good point guard!!!
Ok I can admit I'm wrong on this one it's Corey Brewer 🤣🤣🤣
Hr cooking jkidd all middys 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Bully ball
