- Today we are on our last stages of seed bed prep for the Bermuda grass. With rain delays pushing us back 2 weeks we are finally ready to get some seeds in the ground.

always been called a Do All in my part of the country,, Some have Danish Spring tines and small shovels right after the rolling cutter and before the drag,,,, We use the culti- packer to firm the soil after we Sprigg a Bermuda Grass hayfield.....
Yes we have always called it a do-all ourselves....
Rolling basket is a good finishing tool. Don't get into wet ground with it. It will plug like you wouldn't believe. When it plugs clean it as soon as possible.
Thanks for the tips!
Its called a du- all John Deere used to make them....but for our area it packs the soil we sold ours
We usually don't use ours either, got it out the weeds just to plant this Bermuda.
You just need to get a roller harrow , go over the field twice at different angles and plant it !!
Thanks that seems like a good time saver...
I've heard a couple different terms for the "do-all." Rolling basket or soil finisher seems most common.
