I think he’s on to promote the podcast tho. The show chooses the guests, but I assume that 90% of them have to be doing PR tours, that’s become the economic value of nighttime talk shows. So I’m sure Seth would love that but the higher up’s would likely shut that down quick. My theory is that Seth is already picked as the next Lorne and won’t rock the boat too much. He could have up to 10 more years on late nite tho.

That skit was the best musical skit I’ve seen in a long time. You could tell Bowen and Ariana were having a great time and they sounded awesome together.

This Best Buy with saloon doors and goth kids scurrying when Bowen kicks the doors open and kills it on Dance Dance Revolution to Kylie Monogue really needs to be an SNL skit.
What blew me away about that Moulin Rouge sketch was Ariana’s excellent Australian accent, it’s not an easy accent for Americans to do but she nailed it.
Impressions are her secret talent. I loved her as Jennifer Lawrence on SNL some years back

As a young man (which I am not, anymore), I worked at a Costco, and I’d drive over to the Best Buy all the time, because I loved immersing myself in the tech. Just the smell of it, and the joy of listening to speakers and looking at joysticks, and pondering routers.. It was amazing. The hardest part was being approached by the blue-shirt staff every ten seconds and being asked if I needed anything. I knew they meant well. I wasn’t in need of them.
Bowen is a true gem. Where has he been this whole time?? I'm so glad the world gets to know the precious Bowen Yang. He is so authentically himself and very charismatic and personable. He deserves his massive success.

that Moulin Rouge sketch was mocking me, as usual! Go for it, SNL. My life gets meaning from being used as comedic fodder to be enjoyed as a bizarre scenario for the masses. The sketch used the term "medley", but I call them song smashes, and one of the earliest ones I came up with was in 2020, it is "One Day I'll Fly Away" (from Moulin Rouge) goes into "My Favorite Things" (from the Sound of Music). In that sketch, they made a medley of two songs from the same two musicals as i did.
Btw, Bowen Yang is THE MAN.
