how did this work with payments and stuff. Did it come out of a loan or was it all paid in advance. hoping to use this accommodation when I start in September and just wanted to know a bit more info x
hey so u pay for this accom in three instalments (for this year it was late september, mid january and in april) and these are scheduled a couple days after student finance is paid to u so u have the money to pay for it and the payments come out automatically from the bank account u used to pay the deposit (which is usually a week or two rent) but u can change the account that the money comes out of, hope this helps it u have any more questions just let me know :)) x
hey! Would you say Brighton uni is diverse? I’m planning on applying there for 22 as an international student.
hiya that’s so exciting and yes i would definitely say brighton uni is very diverse, i honestly met so many different people from all over the world and with different interests :))

i know this is very late! my media teacher grew up in brighton and moved to winchester for uni and found it was so different because brighton is so diverse!

hey so when i first started this was an option on the brighton uni halls but i have noticed that for this upcoming year it’s not being offered, it’s probably as they now have their new mouslecoomb accom ready x

hiya i have no clue what the measurements of the desk are but i can ensure you that there’s a lot of space to fit everything that you’ll need/want on ur desk! and the to do lists I got from tkmax so there’s not a link for them unfortunately but when shops open again i defo recommend tkmax for that kind of things :)) thanks so much for watching and it defo was cosy!! xx

hey there are quite a few studio accommodations close to both the unis, i definitely know for sure some private student accommodations that do studios that are very close by and just a short bus ride away

hey when i stayed here it was around £200 a week x

hey so to park at uni (the different campuses not uni accom) u would need a permit which u can apply for on the uni website and i think it will tell u the price during the application but for the uni accommodation that they provide it’s very rare that they have parking spaces for u to park ur car but there is i think a few spaces at varley park accom as i know a few people that brought there cars but would have to talk to them to find out more, personally i found it quite hard to sort out bringing my car to uni so i didn’t in the end but if u have any more questions feel free to ask xx

hi yeh for my course I really like it and enjoy it plus I do think that UOB provide a lot of opportunities to benefit ur career in the future such as placements, i would definitely recommend looking into the course that u would want to do and see if it sounds like a bit of u, the uni have a great social aspect to with all the different societies u can join as well! x

hey so i had a good experience while i was there but i was there during covid so there were rules like no mixing with other flats no guests allowed etc but when isolating the staff were helpful in making sure our weekly food shop got to us etc
The Moulsecoomb halls place area is disgusting, really rough area with disgraceful people! Thank god I moved!
this one was a newly built one in the area they are doing up so i’m assuming it’s better than whatever was there before!

hey i would say don’t overpack! bring the essentials plus some extra things that will help you feel at home! as you can always bring more stuff over to your accommodation throughout the year! x
