    TU 160 first flew in 1981 , the B1 in 1984

Not quite right. Tu-160 really first flew in 1981, but B1 had two versions: B1-A and B1-B. B1-A took it's first fly in 1974 (was built in 1973). 3 years later it was scrapped due to political reasons. And in 1980, B1-B was made, using his predecessors design and probably tech

While not every Russian military aircraft could be considered a thing of beauty but when they get it spot on they do it with style and beautiful though she is I’ll always have a soft spot for the bear because for me it’s difficult to describe but suffice to say she is a trusty piece of kit

You don't need that many, because they are a launch platform,
Russia 🇷🇺 still has the Bear 🐻 as the Americans use the B52.

    Hey there.
I'm curious, but who is the voice of the channel, and what is the general process for making these videos?
i've seen a few videos, but this doesn't seem too far from other aviation focused channels, but it also feels as if it distances itself from being a sole project run by one person.
maybe getting to know some of these details would help bring the audience a little closer?
whatever the case, i hope the channel fares well.

Wasn’t viable cost-wise, maintenance-wise, and even mission-wise. It was better used by NASA than Air Force.

A beauty, but let's hope that (like the B2, B1, and any other "strategic platform") it never gets used for its intended primary role...

Russia has long abandoned the idea of creating 'invisibility' to the detriment of other qualities needed for solving problems. and the United States is still dreaming of the idea (invented by a Russian inventor) that they will become invisible. therefore, in Russia, the production of old developments with new technologies was resumed. I think there will be new transport systems based on the concept of a flying wing. but only because of the qualities that increase flight duration and reduce fuel consumption. the whole reason is that Russia does not have a strategy to attack someone like the United States. and they can already strike at other countries from their territory. Russia's missile armament now surpasses other countries in this regard and will continue to develop.

Not sure if it's even worth following the nonsense in the Western media/that is spouted among NAFO bot accounts at this point (kind ridiculous to even believe any of it anymore with all that has come out). Also hard to argue that the Russians "are bad" after they massacred some 450,000 Ukros + NATO mercenaries while losing only around 40,000 of their own. Hell, the Russians even trashed most of NATO's weapons stockpiles despite only wanting to demilitarize Ukraine (just ask the British MOD; won't be able to replace its reserves, etc. until 2030. Oof…)
And judging by how few NATO countries even have a proper industrial base (Germany has followed a self-destructive cuck narrative about becoming "greener" and is mass suiciding its own industries as we speak) - and how many have wilfully devolved into dystopian, hyperinflationist, immigrant filled, shithole countries with service economies that have zero industry - it would seem that logistics is more of a Western issue right now (even the United States has allowed itself to collapse: just look at the amazing spectacle that the American "Rust Belt").
The masses of bums, lazy millennials, and couch comfy welfare dependent Hispanics and/or Muslim immigrants present, coupled with all the selfish, powerful, Sorros-esque, "pro-Green," "pro-inflation" and "pro-bug eating" special interests and technocratic parasites sucking all that remains castes doubt as to whether the West will ever rise to what it once was again as an industrial power (it can't even replace what it has lost in all the useless proxy conflicts in the past decade!)
If Russia is "bad at ground warfare," then all of the attempts at hastily training Ukrainians on Leopard 2, F-16's, etc. and then sending them into piecemeal, NATO planned and sponsored suicide wave attacks after a multi-month long advertising hype train backing a campaign that was supposed to drive the Russians to the sea of Azov in 2-weeks (not to mention all those cringe inducingly childish memes of leopard cats waving Ukrainian colors…) - on top of the recent hideous U.S debacles in Afghanistan (over a billion dollars in equipment just left to the Taliban, and dozens killed just fleeing the country after a 10+ year utter fail at "getting revenge") and the related pussy-run from Iraq in the dead of the night - are glowing examples and demonstrations of Western incompetency at every conceivable level of military planning and operations… Gulf War 1 was 20 years ago, and even that was against massively outmoded foe.
Go home and fix yourself, yankee.

Is it bigger and heavier than a B-52?

    • @stephen4121
      @stephen4121 Před rokem +4

Depends what you mean by heavier. B52 is much heavier empty, TU160 is slightly heavier loaded as it carries about 50% more ordinance, about 50% further than a B52.

and you should have mentioned in the video that NATO fighters taking off to intercept cannot catch up with the Tu-160. this unpleasant message is banned from media coverage in NATO countries. by the way, American aircraft built using 'stealth' technology is a utopia for American taxpayers. they are all well recognized by modern and ancient systems. and they go astray well, as Yugoslavia, which had the oldest air defense systems, showed us.
