Sounds like your throttle linkage might be a bit off, as in sync with the strato throttle. Might be why your noticing a lack of torque.

I was in the middle of putting one of those 441s together, and the camera died. Screwed up and left the wrist pin retainer clip out, and had to tear it down and start over. Hope it will run strong.

It's a good thing you remembered. I'd imagine it will run strong for ya only thing I noticed about this on is they dont have alot of bottom end. You have to wind this one out for power but it's there. It's no 044 440 038 mag or husq 372 though

@@TREEKILLER90 The guy that had this one cut timber all day, either wanted a 390 Husky or the 441.

@@JKSawShopI've had my 441c for ten years and it's been a great saw. I agree about bottom end grunt, but I recon that's the way strato saws are designed. I just tryin keep it in its happy rpm range. Skip tooth chains on a 28" bar, very sharp chain.

Looks like it was doing good it’s a little heavier than the husqvarna isn’t it. Hope y’all have a great Christmas

I believe there the same within a few ounces. Supposed to have more power than the 372 by just a hair but I sure can't find it lol. It doesn't have the low end torque. You gotta wind it out to get it. I do have to do some more work on it but overall it's a good saw. Just a few kinks from sitting so long

I'm gonna have to throw a few more parts at it and it will be good

That’s whynInalways take an axe with me, along with, at least three wedges. Two felling wedges and a small wedge to use when bucking. I also take, at least, two saws with me incase I get my primary saw stuck in a log. If I am cutting difficult trees or an unknown tree, I may carry more than two saws. You can’t ever have to many saws with you, because you may have mechanical problems, too.

I did have an axe but it was up by the harvester with the rest of my stuff and wasnt walkin to get it for 1 tree. If it didn't tip over I'd use the harvester tip it over or cut my hinge wood away on the lightest side and let it swing to the heavy side
