    Yes be very careful it is easy for the MS 291 with it's power to kick back and hit you in the face I saw a 28 year old who thought he could man handle the saw get hit in the face, he was lucky it almost cut his nose and bottom lip off it took many stitches and now because I am older I wear a forestry hard hat with the metal mesh visor and ear muffs. It only takes one time to hurt yourself. BE SAFE

      safety first for sure. My father was a logger and saw all kinds of accidents. They can happen to anyone and it happens quickly. Being slower with safe practices so that you can go home the same way you went out is ideal

    Get some chaps, boots, helmet with face shield, and some gloves. Also recommend getting some wedges. SAFETY FIRST!

    i have one of these that my son in law gave me and the damn thing will not oil the chain. i have put 2 new oil pumps on it with new worm gear at the same time and it might work for 5 minutes or less, any body out have this problem, please let know how to fix it. i have in my arsenal a stihl 066, 460, 038 mag 2. so working on saws is not a problem.

      I've since implemented the use of PPE and resurched safe operation techniques. While I don't know when the good lord will take me home you can call this "quitting while I'm ahead"

    The lack of safety gear is alarming. Chaps/boots/helmet ... don't become a statistic. How the heck a chip didn't get in this guy's eye is beyond comprehension....

    • @ApexPressureWash
      @ApexPressureWash  Před 6 měsíci

      Yes I agree with you. I'm not worried about a chip I'm worried about that chain. I do have safety glasses and ear pro, but not chaps...not yet.

      @@ApexPressureWashchaps are cheap compared to stitches or bleeding out. A hard hat or helmet is cheaper than a brain bleed. Pick up a wedge or two, if that tree set back on you, your bar would have been pinched and stuck. Look up when you’re cutting for hangers or dead limbs that can fall on you.
      That said you got it on the ground no one got hurt or anything broke. That’s a big ass tree to be messing with and you got it down. Good job.
