One of the racers' helmets on the side-art says 'GX', that possibly means the hardware this game runs on, which is indeed called "Konami GX".
I believe this or 'Lethal Enforcers II' were the first games to run on that hardware, although the year on the title screen of this game is 1993. :P
Conversus Vans Pretty cool man, good eye!
Conversus Vans BTW, about the year... the title screen says 1993, but the game was released late in 1994... if you look at the manual as well, the part number of the L.E. II manual is a lower number than the Racin Force manual, so I think Lethal Enforcers II prob. beat it to market. Racin' Force may have been developed in 93 though and they sat on it for awhile...
Yeah, that sounds right.
I hear of games that were developed in 1995, but not released until late in 1996... I think "Tokyo Wars" from Namco was one. :P
Joe's Classic Video Games were is your store location because I have racin force and I was planing to get it if you still have one so I can have two link together
Sega Rally is the same way. It said it was developed 1994 on the screen but many gamers said is released in the following year. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Here it comes joe classic arcade
This is a great find. The problem is, what Sega was doing in the graphics department was so bleeding edge that Konami really couldn't compete.
Yeah it kind of hurts it too that you don't really have a goal in the game, you just drive and if it's not linked there isn't even another car you see most of the time. I still like it though, and I like the cabinet.
This was an awesome game xx
It really was, yup!
Unfortunately no Force Feedback, there's just a few springs behind the wheel that center it, and provide a little resistance while you turn.
Does the wheel have force feedback?
I'd love to work with restoration of these beauties.
It's pretty fun, but most of it is T.V. repair!
@@LyonsArcade T.V. repair sounds a little bit bad, but the magic comes from the cabinet/hardware itself. Arcade games simply disappeared from here, so I still think it's a dream come true to be able to deal with them after all. That's pretty much some history on your garage also.
this could've of been fun on the ps1.
How much would a good condition one be worth?
I think the name entry theme's bits have the Wii Sports Theme bits.
Getting ready to pick up one of these up tomorrow ..doesnt work but im gonna try and fix it.
It's a fun game, the only problems you're likely to have is the monitor may need rebuilt, the power supply may be dead, and the gameboard won't start if the steering wheel isn't centered.
I picked up one of these ..All it’s missing is a monitor. What brand / size monitor do you recommend. ?
It originally had a Wells Gardner K7000 25" monitor, one of the best arcade monitors ever made!
I've noticed that your Racin' Force doesn't have a speedometer display. All other Racin' Force PCB recordings I've found so far have it.
I've had multiples and none of them had it, it must be a difference between the US and overseas version. I just checked the pictures I have of 6 different ones... Thanks for watching Megalo
the speedometer only shows when you select Manual transmission
Still have this one by chance?
Still looking for one of these Cole P? I know of one in Washington State that's for sale.
Konami's answer ridge racer
We've had a Ridge Racer 2 in (we actually have a broke one right now too, looking for a board)....
I wanna make the trip to NC and say hi
Swing on by!
I’m in nc are you it’s nice and cozy
5:25 The 4th Hall Of Fame Name says: Ass! 😂😂😂😂
I didn't do it!
How much does this one sell for?
We don't have it in anymore, but it would be about $800.
@@LyonsArcade thanks for the reply! I'm looking to buy one and found one in fair condition, not anywhere as nice as the one in the video but it works and is decent. But with these people things I believe condition is everything right?
Yeah the ones that have a nice cabinet are worth more for sure.
