Cybernaut's playfield vs. Xenon doesn't really looked cheaped out to me, vs. something like Black Pyramid. But yeah, no voice, no reverb, no double backglass and chaser lights. Though the last two were certainly never a standard like voice and better sound had become by the early 80s.

You guys did a great job. With the new customizable sound boards, and the ability of print shops doing DTF printing, have you ever heard of someone custom building their own pinball machine? I thought it would be cool to take an old game like that that has been parted or visually really degraded and make a one-of-a-kind machine. Think an 80's Saturday's cartoon theme, pics of different shows and characters on the targets and playfield with sound samples from the shows. Elmer Fudd, Roadrunner, Bugs, to Transformers and other could all be there. Licensing a game like that would probably be a pain and expensive, but if you were just building it for yourself, you wouldn't need to license it.

Thank you for this series! I recently bought one of these, and it wasn't working, but after replacing the MPU, rectifier board, and repinning the connectors on the rectifer board with your help, I finally got it working this evening.

Lost World looks, and sounds awesome, I doubt it will veg in the showroom for long. Great work gentlemen.

I cannot believe you took a roughly-pinball shaped hulk of yellow wood and worked it back into a very respectable pinball machine.

FrankenStern, love that interface. Makes me want to short out some Rasperry Pis figuring out my mutant mechanism out of an old Cheeze arcade game that does nothing but take quarters and beep.

Found one of these for sale locally and it’s beautiful looking. Unfortunately the ball isn’t dispensing through so it’s not playing. There’s also no music/sound. Cant figure out if it’s worth paying for it or not, it’s listed $100
