Been a Pats fan since I was 5 yrs old in 1985 and even though they lost to the SECOND best team ever the 85 Bears..... I have grown up and lived in Indiana 90% of my life and I used to HATE Peyton Manning because of the rivalry between the Colts and Patriots but as we got in to 2010s era and Manning got hurt in Indy with his neck surgeries I actually started to respect Manning. I actually started to grow up and I realized that we won't be able to see these 2 face off forever. Manning is top 3 of all time. You can argue between Manning and Montana for 2nd all time. But when he retired it hit me, the greatest match up was done forever.
My point to all of this rambling is that it has. been an honor and also taught me how to grow up and not hate opposing teams/players and appreciate everyone.
I will watch Tom Brady until he retires. I'll ALWAYS be a Patriot. I'll always know that Tom Fucking Brady is the greatest qb to ever play. Pure pocket passer is a thing of the past. When Tommy goes, I go. I'll keep up with the Patriots scores but I'll be done living to watch the NFL.

Let me tell you something that you already knew. Hit the rewind button back to 1999...I told some people that guy right there #10 has that look in his eyes "killer instinct" or later what Skip likes to say "psycho Tom"!!! If only if coach Carr stuck with Brady since day 1 of the 1999 season...My beloved Michigan team that I still root for to this day would be playing in the national title game. "Come back Kid" a.k.a Tom freakin Brady was just getting started to unleash and prove all doubters.

I've been a Patriots fan ever since I was born in 2000. I have been so privileged and lucky to live during the era of Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. From watching him drive down the field against the Greatest Show on Turf to the Legion of Boom and now this year against the same franchise he got his first ring from, we won't see another player like Brady!

Aside from the obvious 'revenge' this game offered Brady, the other sort of hilarious and sad part was watching the Blanks (the Falcons' owner and his wife) during the game. They were up in their owners' box and jubilant as the game went on. I think it was in the 3rd quarter when they appeared on the Falcons' sideline. Again, they were obviously very happy. Then you can watch has ultimate joy turned into uneasy smiles then into modest concern then into uh-oh then into despair. It's like Vizzini in the Princess Bride, "You fool! You fell victim to one of the clathic blunderth. The motht famouth is never get involved in a land war in Asia. But only thlightly leth well known is thith. NEVER, go in againtht the Patriots, when Brady is the QB! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

This team of that year sorta reminds me of the Cleveland Browns in a way. People doubting them, questioning their defensive play, etc. The only real differences I would say (and they're real subtle) is that the browns never had and currently don't have a game-changing QB, they've never won a Superbowl, they've never been to a Superbowl, they've never won their division, when they did win the division last it was 30 years ago, the division had a different name, they were a different franchise (Baltimore) and almost no one on their prospective roster was alive. Other than that I'd say it's a worthwhile comparison.
