When you take a light chassis and combine it with one of the most iconic engines that Nissan ever made, what do you get? One of the best all-around cars in its rawest form. Jesse's Datsun 280z is fast, it burns tires like no other, it sounds incredible, and it has a nearly spotless exterior. I keep telling him that this thing should make it to some national shows, because it could really rake in a lot of awards.

As a S30 owner and a X 15 year S30 Technician (worked at Scott Performance in Santa Clara, Ca. we built the Green Hornet 240z back in the mid 90s owned by Greg Scott) anyways you get my point...Your 280 is bad bad bad badass!

My favorite Z-car build on CZcams so far. It is stunning, purposeful, and you've placed an awesome engine in it. By the way, thank you for not putting the frickin' side mirrors on the fenders, the Japanese were out of their minds when they did that but it does absolutely nothing for the car. Good show, Brother!

I remebers the days when no Z enthusiasts wouldn't even look at 280z's only 240z's were sought-after, I bought a running 280z for 300bux in 2000 lol, those days are long gone haha

Here's a hint for your next build. When you delete bumpers, put some effort into filling the holes and the indentations where the bumpers used to be. It makes for a MUCH more finished and polished presentation in the end.

Not sure on his exhaust setup, but I know it's at 400whp on pump gas and 500 on e85. He did one or two episodes on his exhaust setup on his channel if I remember correctly. Boost Shack Speedshop is the name of the channel
