I always love vlogs with your parents, Sophia! I esp got teary during the scene of mama chang making the kimchi + feeding. Being first-gen filipino american, there's always been that disconnect between my parents & I growing up & the way I wanted to be shown love was different from what they grew up with. I'm blessed now that I'm older, I've realized and learned my parents special way of showing their love to me---food (which I'm sure a lot of people can relate with). I always look forward to the times I'm able to visit my parents & spend that special moment with them. Thank you for the effort you've put into making this video and for sharing your memories with us

I lost my mum last year so watching this brings warmth to my heart. Asian Mums taking over the kitchen and home is a little bit frightening but also amazing at the same time, I miss them so.

This right here is how my parents act when they visit - doing things for me, cooking and cleaning. This is how they show their love!! Maybe it's a foreign parent thing! Also, dead when your dad said he does a better job than contracted workers bc my dad says the EXACT. SAME. THING.
