thanks for the idea--but, I sure was nervous watching you cut multiple repeats with the exacto knife, each time I thought I would be seeing a finger slashed. It would have been 1k times safer to use a rotary cutter (quilter's tool) and an equilateral triangle ruler or acrylic ruler to make one cutting pass of the rotary cutter.
How do make a hexegon to a set size For eg I want a finished size hexegon say 5 inches I did your instructions with a 8 inch square and the hexigon was too big without going through thousand hexegons Is the set size square for set hexegon size
janelle cookson there’s only one place where the top corner meets the fold line. If you move it further down or up it won’t be ON that fold line. It’s actually a very clear video. Try it.
The addition of some sort of voicing would have been greatly appreciated. Nice hexagon; but how do I know what start size of paper is to get size I want? Very vague instruction. There has to be a formula for this.

so there that first angle fold. How does one 'guess'' on moving toward the bottom edge?? no point of reference and many ruined tries
