It's so important to make sure you're using a good pair of hair cutting scissors/shears when you're cutting your own hair. Using a dull pair or a pair of scissors that's not meant to cut hair can end up causing a lot of unnecessary damage and you can also end up with an uneven haircut! Please do yourself (and your hair) a favor by making sure your scissors are SHARP before attempting an at home haircut! Great tip❣ The guy that sharpens my scissors ✂️ never told me this!? 🤔 I constantly get them sharpened because I never really know if they need to be and always want to be sure they are sharp sharp sharp before grooming. Love Tip Tuesday 👍💕💕

Crazy that's exactly what I did ! How did I know this ? Weird. But mine would cut but only if I held them at a certain angle. Now cutting my own hair that is short I can barely reach the back of my head I would be lucky to get it straight never mind at microscopic angle argh !
