- Since I'll be gone doing medical things most of next week, I won't be able to make or upload any vidyas. So, I've re-uploaded everyone favorite vidya! What's that? Not your favorite vidya? Not ANYBODY's favorite? Well, heck, just watch it again anyway.
In an effort to avoid being a road hazard, I am trying a few things to improve "Strangers" acceleration. Will a cheapo electric "Supercharger" help? Watch and see.

Have you thought about a 6 cyl engine for the STRanger?
I have, but never liked the Cologne designed engines (2.8, 2.9, 4.0). Worse fuel economy and only marginally more power. I've got my eye on an SVO engine...
If you are going to swap go v8. There is a 302 swapped splash around here
The problem with a V8 swap in these trucks is that the AC evap case is in the way. So if you want to keep your AC, it becomes a problem, not enough clearance.@@jeffreyrigged

Yes, probably. I've been keeping my eyes open for an early Ranger with functioning AC and a V8 to see how they did it. But I think I've got a better solution, got my eye on an SVO engine.@@jeffreyrigged
Fans don't really produce much pressure. Air compressors use pistons or something akin to a supercharger's impellors in a rotary style compressor. Imagine trying to blow air into a tank with a fan and expecting compressed air in there. It's basically what these things are doing.
