  • Edit 3/19/17: Please do not find me on social media concerning this. I no longer will be responding to messages about TWR and wish you the best. My advice, find a non-religious therapist and learn to move on. It has been over two years for me and I have, I can't keep bringing back old baggage. Good luck.
This video is about my experience leading up to leaving to go on the World Race, my experience overseas and deciding to leave after three months and the process of returning to America and recovering.
Unfortunately, I've had to disable comments because people from TWR were posting disrespectful and degrading comments. It is crazy the amount of people who have emailed me in support of me, and the amount of people who have completed the Race or who are currently on it who agree with me but are afraid to say anything in fear of being shamed or losing support. I was told that leaving was going to be the biggest regret, and that everyone regrets leaving. I am very glad I left, and it's okay to leave. There are a lot of others who have left also for the same reasons, and it's okay. You're not alone. The point of this wasn't to say that, it was to explain to my friends and family why I am home however I have just gotten dozens of emails from people I don't know who are moved by this and I'm glad something that scared the heck out of me to do (being vulnerable and posting this) can help others.
