- This video goes over tips on growing and harvesting the giant Marconi sweet pepper. I also discuss cooking the with the pepper and do a cooking demonstration at the end on making stuffed Marconi peppers with ground turkey.
Love how detailed this video is. You're a great teacher, thank you ❤️
My giant Marconi was a starter from home Depot. My 3 year old son snapped it in half about a week after I planted it.
Turned out to benefit the plant. Made it quite strong and productive.
I gave him a lollipop.
My first year growing the Marconi. They grow faster than any other pepper plant that i have grown. Nicely done video. Especially letting growers know to pull their early buds off so the can focus all its energy on getting bigger. Not a lot new growers no that. Cant wait to stuff mine.
This is my first garden, I have 4 big green ones and I think I’m gonna harvest 2 of them and leave the others to turn red before picking. The way you were talking about stuffed peppers makes me want to clip all 4 😂
You have convinced me to give these another try next year. Last year, I had a massive harvest all at once but didn't know what to do with them so I gave them to a friend. Next time will be better. Thanks for the video!
You’re welcome

I added sliced cherry tomatoes (home grown) and sliced black olives..I really thank you for sharing your recipe with us! Growing these peppers and cooking with them has been awesome this summer!😜👍🏼

Mmmm you made me not only hungry but I ordered me some of them big peppers 👍
where to buy good seeds of the Giant Marconi?...blessings to all
Is there much differences in taste between a Marconi and a Bell pepper ?
Hey I’m growing the same ones and mine are all green right now. One of them on the top It looks like a insects been eating it since it’s a little brown, so would you say to pick it off or let it get to red. Also, what would say the flavor difference is between the green and red? Thanks
Yes I’d pull the green one. The red ones have a more peppery flavor than the green ones. Let some get red so you compare. Thanks
Awesome, thank you
I see you must have mixed something with your grd. turkey....am I right?
Good video! They’re incredible if you let them turn red. Like candy
Thanks
I grow these every year their great I like them better red 👍
👍🏼
мне нравиться перец вкусные)
Make sure you save your own seed.
Thanks for the video! I grew one plant this year but rabbits almost killed it until I fenced my garden, so it got a late start. Here in Minnesota the growing season is short, so with the late start I got one large green Marconi and about 5 half-sized before it got too cold. Do you think the smaller marconis will still be good to eat?
Yes the small ones are edible. Thanks for commenting
