OMG! This is so amazing! This is so powerful! This is do beautiful! You did such a great job here. You perfectly described Dany's story in this amazing video. The part with Jorah broke my heart. I have always believed and will continue to believe that he would be her true happiness if she responded to his feelings. I also really liked the last part and the words about home. It's a pity that everything ended so sadly for such a great character. :(

Actually she was more a conqueror like Aegon and not a queen. She was THE dragon definitely. But the ones who did her wrong were D&D lol I think even the other actors expected more of her character than what we were all delivered in the show. Sad...

It was always her destiny to become a mad queen. The books will do the same. But she will become such an individual slowly over a year or two, after much loss and torment that will justify her actions. Make us pitty her. Yet allow us to understand why she must die.
She was already a little unhinged, crusifying masters, burning people alive and not caring. Yet she was also compationate and loving towards children and the poor. Her dark side won though
The show turned 3 or 4 seasons worth of story into 1.5 seasons. And HBO and GRRM wanted 10 to 12. Yet D&D said no as they are idiots.
Shane Hughes Yes. It was the lack of character development. D&D gave us foreshadowing alone and expected that to be some kind of replacement for character development. 🤦🏽♀️ And it blew up in their faces. As it should have. Taking the *greatest series ever* and turning it into hot garbage.
Envied Cookie With a good character development, and the incredible acting skills of Emilia, Daenerys could have been one of the greatest villains ever. I would have loved something like: Daenerys, a girl who went trough so much that she try to eliminate the bad from the world, but more she is trying, the more she is becoming what she swore to destroy. That would have been so poetic and tragic, but D&D messed up. I hope the books (if they are even written) bring the best out of her.

game of thrones the almost legendary series... in the last minute they "decided" to drop the ball and ruin it...
7th would be one of the better seasons if they had continued until season 10 or so and slowly uncover more about whitewalkers. And yeah 8th is worst ending of all times. My friend actually did the reasonable thing when he heard how bad it is and didn't watch it. Sadly i watched every episode as it aired so i wasn't that lucky. You can find some more reasonable endings as fan fictions on internet which I consider the right ending.

The one time, THE ONE TIME, women have a heroine that doesn't have to sacrifice her beautiful femininity to be considered strong and they ruin her. She was a mother, wife, sister and compassionate woman all in one (who didn't have to act masculine), all whilst being strong and someone for young girls to look up to without the tired 'tomboy' trope and look what they did to her. A disgrace honestly.
Of course they had to make the most powerful female character go crazy and “descend into madness” because her bf didn’t want her anymore. A woman scorned trope at its finest.
She crucified people alive and burnt a city, they didn’t do anything that wasn’t apart of the story. Sorry life isn’t a fairy tale.

Here I am 3 years later, sobbing with tears watching the. Dany was an inspiration and the first fictional character I ever grew and had an emotional connection with. Watching her helped me get through some really tough times. She is forever my Queen and may she and her dragons live on forever.

Perhaps Missandei said "Dracarys" because she was telling Dany to destroy the city and everyone in it👀
My interpretation is that Missandei said "Dracarys" meaning what Dany had said in season 7 "enough with the clever plans", because those clever plans only brought her enumerous defeats. Both Missandei and Daenerys wanted peace and minimal casualties ("the blood of my enemies, not the blood of inocents"), but as Missandei argued once to Tyrion "the slave masters only know blood and violence" (not her actual words, I can't remember them, but this is what she meant before - season 6). The Lords of Westeros, and especially Cersei, understand only violence.
To put an end to it all and finally defeat them all, Daenerys should use the only weapon the other side doesn't have, which gives her a massive upper hand - Drogon. If she had flown to the Red Keep before Viserion and Rhaegal died, she would have won in no time with minimal casualties. If I remember it correctly, Cersei's side only had ballistas on 7x04. If Dany had gone from Dragonstone straight to King's Landing with no previous warning... Cersei's side would have been massively underprepared.
Sorry for the long explanation lmao. This is just my interpretation given the ideals and personalities of both Missandei and Daenerys.

@@yolosangels yeah if she attacked westeros before going beyond the wall she could have won already. All Tyrion did is stall time and Jon Snow he's the major reason of Daenarys downfall. He killed Daenarys and yet he left unscathed. Dany's armies still overpowered the majority and yet they did nothing to Jon Snow and just obediently come home, the ending is literally just a waste of previous seasons building up for the finale. D&D should never touch project again.

I saw a clip of Emilia and that was what made me start watching GOT. After the first season, I asked a friend who had read the books if Daenerys survived, because I wasn't going to keep watching if she didn't. She made the show. In my head-canon, she's ruling in Westeros.
D&D forgot about her gentle heart and the Starks used and then discarded her! Without her there wouldn't be a Westeros!

The whites would simply have continued conquering all in their part if ARYA didn't kill their king, and eventually conquer Dragon Stone. Guess who will run (or should I say fly away), and abadon her people?

She literally came out of nowhere, cutting past through all his army and generals. Dany should have simply taken KL the moment she arrived and defeated NK combining her Dragons, Dothraki, Unsullied and the Lannister forces. But Love Blinded her, and in my opinion, that was her downfall.
@@elizabethjohn5250 Probably, she should/ could have done that. But her, her dragons, dotharkis, unsullied and every other person is no match for the NK and his army. The NK will simply 'resurrect' the dead dragons, dothrakis, unsullied etc to join HIS army and continue the fight until all (even Dany) is dead and part of HIS army. The movie made it clear, her dragon's flames meant nothing to the NK. He would simply use his excellent javelin skills and claim Drogon. At least Dany knew it and was smart to run (or maybe I should say fly) away.
Much as Arya defeating the NK brings about some questions, it still remained clear. She and only she, ARYA, could have killed the NK. Not even my beloved JS.
And be real, her downfall wasn't love, it was obsession. Even knowing JS was the rightful heir, she still said (and I quote), "that would you mean you have a claim to MY throne". WTF?! And what was worse, she BEGGED him to keep his identity a secret just so everyone would still think she was the throne's heir. No dear @ElizabethJohn her downfall definitely wasn't love. It was obsession.
@@mystique5113 I totally get where you are going. Forgive me if I am wrong, I don't know much about asoiaf universe. But she could have captured KL the moment she arrived in Westeros . There was still time. The NK at the moment was still outside the Wall. I still don't know why she wasted her time. Then Jon arrives, she saves him from WW , loses Viserion in the process, decides to fight with him against NK alongside the Northern armies, Lannisters, etc. Still Arya could kill NK according to that prophecy, however impractical that scene would /could be.
Yes, she WAS obssessed with the Iron Throne, no argument there. I am a Dany fan , but I will not try to justify all her actions. No one is perfect. Yet, she didn't attempt to Kill Jon who appeared to be a threat to her goal.
She loved him. Why else would she save Jon fully knowing that it was a dangerous mission? ( Think about it. If she hadn't, she would not have lost her dragon and NK couldn't have used him to destroy the Wall, meaning though Jon died, the people would still be safe, for a while.)
Anyway, she could have her justification if you look from her perspective. She really wanted the Crown, and seeing Jon has no intention in taking it she may have thought it's best to keep his identity a secret. There were many in Westeros who didn't like her and would gladly hail Jon as the King. And it may cause even more tension between them. She is proven right in the end, when Sansa revealed the secret to Tyron , unleashing a series of problems and betrayals pushing her to the edge along with the losses of people she loved.
She was obsessed with the IT from the beginning itself, but she managed to pull it off with balance.

D&D kinda forgot about the Dragon Queen 4 7½ seasons. Arya and Sansa piss me off and so does Jon. That was the most depressing thing I ever saw.
Omg yes. I hate the way Arya and Sansa treated her. It didn’t make any sense. They had more in common with Dany than they knew, and if they knew how she saved people in Essos, I think they would have liked her.
@@melissaamlung786 Season 8 was nonsense with building character assassination against Dany. D and D did some of what they did with Sansa (or is it Sansafinger?) and Arya as part of that character assassination-harming their characters as well. Arya was interested in female dragon riders before so she may have been interested in meeting Dany for that reason alone. Sansa should be jumping for joy that Jon found a girlfriend that can protect both of them (as some of the few remaining people with Stark blood) from Cersei.
Don't forget that Sansa was telling Jon about the danger Cersei posed to them at the start of season 7. So Sansa arguably should've been the warning bell to Jon about Cersei that he was to everyone else about the white walkers.
I used to love all of them! But Sansa being mad and hating her for no reason! She didn’t even know her! Aryas character was ruined. Jon became an idiot and fell in love with her in like a month! It didn’t make sense, Daenerys used to be my favorite and they ruined her!!
The Starks in the last season is really shit and such a disappointment. I rooted for them together with Danaerys but D&D just had to shit them over.
Fun story about Arya. Didn't she wanna be like 2 Dargaryen warriors when she was a kid? I thought she would love to be near Danny but ... Lol, she started to hate her because she was a killer, like she was . So stupid.
I can't even put into words how beautiful, emotional, and bittersweet this is. I genuinely thank you with every fiber in my being and more for making and sharing this with us all. I mayhaps have cried like a baby and the tears are far from dry still but, it's truly an amazing tribute. I completely adore what you put at the end of the video too. Many many characters got changed from their book versions in the show, some for the better while a lot changed negatively, Daenerys is one of those that suffered from that change as they rushed her character to make her a mad queen for the final episode that it didn't seem posible, not even that the writers lied to Emilia by only telling her that Dany only burns down the Red Keep and the original script having wildfire, light up by acident thanks to Dany burning the scorpions and thats what would have burnt the city, not Dany. As for her book self I belive her destiny is to be the breaker of chains and free slaves across the world, what she learned from Slavers Bay will make it easier when she heads to Volantis and her final goal to free the Whites from the chains of the Others and grant them peace in death. Also yea people should 100% donate to Same You.

@@mystique5113 It's this idiotic new conspiracy theory hanging around that the show was changed in the last second by those 'idiots' D&D and no one told Emilia about it. Allegedly, Cersei was supposed storing wildfire and was ready to destroy the whole KL, but Dany sussed it out and destroyed the Keep, so in the very last second GCI shots of massive wildfire explosions were changed to CGI shots of Dany's methodical rampage. At this moment I'm sure these people will believe in a flat Earth if they can tie it somehow to spitting on D&D.
This made me cry. She had the best heart, she was a dragon, but she allowed the taste of power, to corrupt her heart, through her taste for her own destiny and her heart hardened. She thought she was mercy and that was her undoing. Her form of justice / mercy, turned her heart black. She stopped listening to her heart and got a taste for power. Power corrupted her heart. :-(
Say what you will about GOT, but this was an epic series. The characters, we fell in love with and cheered for them, and booed them and some we hated. This is a series that I think, a lot of us were very emotionally invested. I know I was. I hate that she was killed, the ending I’ll never agree with. Daenerys Targaryen was one of the best fictional characters ever created, IMO. And Emilia Clark, she just owned this part. Thank you for this requiem. Daenerys deserved to be honored. Thank you for this, and thank you for spotlighting Sameyou.

I just found this video, and this is a wonderful tribute! I wish that the writers of series had gone with Daenerys taking her birthright, rather than having her sink into madness. In my mind, Drogon took her to the red priestesses of Essos to bring her back from the dead.

The true Queen! I hate what they did with her character in the end. It was a rush and a waste of a season. She worked so hard throughout the seasons only to have her hard work tossed out in one season with 6 episodes. Daenerys was amazing and she is the true Queen

Let me just say that when the show started Dany was not my favorite character...in fact I really disliked her (a lot). Thru the seasons I began to see her differently. She was an incredible leader who cared deeply and genuinely about every person regardless of their stature or position in life. I still can't believe what Dumb & Dumber did to Dany. I don't think I have ever been so disgusted and distraught over the ridiculous slander of a fictional character in my lifetime. Your amazing video gives her the recognition and respect that a QUEEN deserves ! ! Well Done

Everyone wanted to enslave people, she wanted to FREE them, give em' a choice, a life.. she should FOREVER remain the true QUEEN... She was by far one of the most Beautiful people this ugly world could have ever thrust upon you... Dragons or no dragons.... Absolutely gorgeous!
I came here for tears and that's what I got
Where so many other characters who had power abused it and hurt others with it, she used her power to protect people. She stayed behind in Meereen because she felt responsible for the chaos there even though she could have just left for Westeros. She freed the Unsullied and they followed her fiercely and loyally. She proved her worth to the Dothraki and they crossed the sea for her. Thousands of people loved her and called her mother for what she did for them. She went north and nearly lost it all to defend humanity, and I don’t care what anyone says, if they didn’t have her dragons they would have been screwed. And after all the times she sacrificed for the good of others we were told to believe she would murder hundreds of innocents and watch as she was put down like a dog. Regardless, this was an amazing tribute to her character and Emilia Clarke is so amazing 💕
