- Hey everyone,
Today I'm gonna play SCP:Containment Breach on Intel GMA 4500 and I'm gonna show you how to boost FPS.
Also I'm gonna show you how to fix memory access violation.
Memory Access Violation comes up at startup and also at loading.
Here I teach you how to fix both of 'em.
FPS:
*Before, about 10 FPS.
*After, about 20 - 30 FPS.
Command: bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff

i tried doing the command prompt and I got this message.
The boot configuration data store could not be opened.
Access is denied.
Did you ran CMD as administrator?

tried everything but it still doesn't work. actually insane how you can release a game this incompatible and annoying to set up

It looks like the developers doesn't give a shit about this problem. I tried so many times on my PC but didn't work. Then I thought I should let go. But still tried more stuff. Somehow it worked. But not on some PCs. I have no idea what's causing this.
If someone can fix this, it has to be the developers.

For the access violation but I tried everything including your suggestions and still no luck got a 3070 gtx too does this happen in higher end pcs?
It looks like it always happens in RTX cards and GTX 16 series. I have no idea why
When i use the cmd code you gave it appears : " the value is protected by Safe Startup policy, you cant modify or eliminate it." I'm translating what it says, so it might be a slightly different choice of words

I actually managed to use the cmd part, had to desactivate the safe booting, but didnt work either

You can try these in options.ini.
launcher enabled = false
fullscreen = false
borderless windowed = true
achievement popup enabled = 0
intro enabled = 0
check for updates = false

What fixed it to me was going in to game files pressing into dgVoodooCpl going into Direct X and then pressing Disable and passthru to real DirectX

Expand Display Adaper. There you will see it. It should be only one or two adapters.

No you can follow almost every solution I did. But some of them, you won't be able to do.

First of all, what windows you have?
@@GamersArt2K20 Im on windows 11 and i get the MAV every time i try to load full screen. The game will only work in borderless windowed mode.
I Have another type of error : when i start the game like after 4 or 5 minutes it crashes

this is just stupid i had the luancher and i laucnhed with no problems then after i put it to fullscreen and then it went black and said memory access violation and then the launcher wouldnt even pop up, videos are saying its because bad low end parts but i have a rtx 4070s and 32gb with a ryzen 7 7800x3d ive tried everything i guess the devs are either horrible at coding or just dont care

@@GamersArt2K20 thats the thing i cant when i go into options.itl whatever the name is and launch it, it still just loads a black screen with no launcher at all so i cant even set it to borderless mode and it says memory access violation
You have to enable the launcher from the options file. You can open it through notepad
