If you step on the platform then dash off, the droids fall down and fight him. They don't do much damage, but they do draw him to the center, where you can then drop down, hit square, and have a powerful drop attack that hurts him somewhat significantly
i force pulled the 2 strong hammer raiders off the top then activated the drop down so they'd kill him for me (using the blaster to stop oggdo from attacking them as much, preserving health on the raiders), then i'd be left with one of the raiders to kill which is far more managable than oggdo
@Josh G thank you guys, I pulled the two big guys with the hammers down and dropped them in there with him, and when it finally killed them, he was nearly dead AND I got the drop attack and finished him off quite easily.👍🏾
@@joshg7507 what do you mean activated the drop Down?
@webleedgreen9499 you step on the platform and it activates the platform to drop down.
@@joshg7507 where are the hammer guys
Just beat it. Took me 2.5 hours… I discovered him before leaving on the Mantis for the first time . I seriously appreciate that shortcut .. it saved me so much time
Dual-wield seems to be the best option for dealing with him since you can cancel your attacks at anytime if you need to dodge. It’s really about outlasting him. This fight is hell lol.
I used a gun
My strategy in the end was to use blaster stance! Charged shots stun him giving opportunities to strike right after, use the life essence to refill all blaster shots. This gets him down to the 3rd stage very quickly. Then use throws with double stance and slow once his health is low to finish him off. I found his tongue attack to be the most annoying as it’s a one shot kill. His lunge unblockable attack can be dodged by either getting close on his inside. However his last stage is a mess, relentless flurry attacks, coupled with speed are devastating.
I hate that they removed the ability cut off the tongue with pull.
I’ve just had the worst 3 hours of my life trying to kill this prick and your blast strategy worked first time. I love you.
Thank you. This was way easier than the tactic in the video!
Well sh*t, now I got to the fracture where you have to kill both lol.
@@Mr.sassaman level up a bit more and leave the Spawn of Oggdo for last. If you have trouble with the Rancors got tips for them as well. Double lightsaber works wonders on them.
@@Chappy9320 you’re welcome bud.
I used a different strategy. After upgrading force pull, I clear the droids and then force pull the two guys with hammers from above. Then I lure them to the center of the platform and make them drop. They took about half of his health away.
I used the same strat, except I dropped down and interrupted spawn’s unblockables with charged blaster shots. They managed to kill him with my help. I then finished off the remaining guy who was very low.
I did basically the same, i force pulled both the big guys with hammers and then dropped them in the pit while i was on top. They literally got him to 10% hp and i just finnished him off. Was almost too easy, but hey aslong as it works right.
Hey what about the guy behind with the Echo? He just say "its judging me" is that all? Did I do something wrong?
Please help
I cheesed this guy by force pulling the two hammer raiders on top, then made them fall and saw how they left him with 1/4 of life and killed it 😅
If you have the dual wield triangle parry attack, and time it right during his non special attacks, you can take out a decent chunk of out his health. It's when he gets below 50% is when he gets super aggressive with his attacks with red attacks
Whenever I tried doing that he just stopped doing blockable attacks. He just started spamming the unblockable lunge every single fucking time and I nearly threw my controller
i saw someone cheese him by standing behind the box. He just stood there while they hit him through the box.
You can also force pull the Raiders with the hammers, and they will take half of Oggdos health
Ty for saving me 😂
tried it, he just one shots with his tongue attack
@@Tedworthingtonstrat still works, anytime he’s about to spit his tongue at u get out of the corn jump and dash
@Split Screen I'm gonna try this!...I've been stuck on him for 3 days and I'm about to punch a hole in my tv
So I fought this dude early on like I only had barely leveled up my stances. I went single lightsaber and just broke it down. He’s right about drawing out the big move but my advice is don’t be scared. I played really close and just timed my dodges and jumps and blocked his bites. The last phase is crazy so just be ready for it. Double jump is your friend! Good luck, I had 4 stims.
U literally can jump in the air and dash a red attack and it still gets you
When he does his normal biting attack you can dodge kinda into him to the opposite side his head moves to and you get into this little blindspot where he has to turn around to hit you its a really easy way to do a bunch of damage
Can you cut his tongue or cancel his red’s with force in this game or no?
I’m timing his big attack perfectly and he still hits me
I'm pretty sure it's input reading
The timing attacks on these bosses are just shtupid. I know it's game, but still. Haha.
The big one where he lunges you have to double jump it’s the only way. Understand some the moves programmed are only avoidable by certain mechanics
The amount of times I've dodged his tongue only to get snatched anyways, and I'm not timing it wrong either, he is literally grabbing me mid dodge 🤬
I found this guy super early nice to see others wait till later in the game because I’m having trouble
Thank you so much for this tutorial! Thanks to you I can now rock my poncho and sleep with my sanity in tact.
I found easier and faster strategy, but you need to have skillpoints in blaster stance - charged shot can stop any of his attacks so after I drop down, i charge it and walk towards him, interupt his first atack with shot and hit him with the sword, then immediately charge your shot if he stays close then repeat, if he jumps away just go to him with shot still charged and repeat.. when out of ammo, just pick your xp from previous death to refill and repeat.. you don't need anything else, this can kill him entirely :)
as someone who played jedi academy and thoroughly enjoyed smooth combat and powerful force abilities including high jumps, these jedi survivor dark souls esque games are really slow clunky and boring to play. my lightsaber just feels like a sword. anyone else feel this way?
a lightsaber should deal way more damage to enemies, but they should add more enemies to down as the challenge, not fucking HP sink enemyies
What difficulty you playing on?
I feel the same way. I never feel powerful enough and what I hate the most is that I can't cancel my moves midway with a dodge or block even though I know I'm about to get hit by an unblockable strike. And don't get me started with all the blasters I have to block while Im also fighting this jumping ninja robots. The game is an 8/10 at most, they need to let us change stances as we like.
You are wrong about the bite attack only in phase 3 the stupid slug does that bs combo in all three phases?
I force pulled the guys at the top with the hammers down with me. They do quite a lot of damage 💪
So after watching this and failing a few tunes I ended up force pulling one of those Bedlam Smashers and having it fall into the pit with me. I used my charged suits to do most of the damage
This is also what I did lol. I managed to get them both down there alone with it and they took out half the health
Damn tactics! Thanks for the tips
How do you Dogge mid air?
How are you dashing in the air?
Talk about a overturned enemy lol. Pistol stance is totally the way to go, charged shots stun it briefly out of attacks. Helped me a lot
I got rocked when I first faced him. I rolled up thinking I could fight him like I did in Fallen Order. I finally defeated him after coming back with the air dash and my Dual Wield leveled to Twin Vipers (Dual Lightsaber Throw), the perk that makes the throw stronger and the Survival tree leveled so I regain force with stims. I basically baited him like you did and kept tossing my sabers at him and refilled my force with stims and he went down pretty easy.
Can you not cut off the tongue in this game?
I used mostly double bladed throws while jumping and dodging the attacks to the best of my ability. But even in standard difficulty it took me several times and I had 8 max stims
Been on him 3 days, JUST beat him using the hammer soldiers cheese move
@@stryfetc1471 I brought both of them down and tried to use that method a few times but it never worked well for me. To be fair I never tried to beat that boss specifically, I just fell down a few times by accident while defeating those hammer bois for xp farming, I managed to beat it maybe the 10th time I fell down
@Mr. None YaBusiness TM yeah I just spent 3 days on him!...had to look up a strategy guide!....lol!
I push down those 2 hammer dudes with my lol didnt mean to the first time and they took down half the health for me before dying. Dropped down and helped them and beat it 2nd try, kinda cheesed but wasnt speanding hours on it on JGM like other ppl
Thank you so much, this shit made up for the 3 hours I spent trying to do it normally.
Or....set to story mode for the fight, kill him with ease on the first attempt. Set to initial mode again and continue. Life is hard, enjoy yourself.
Really with the life quote? Alright I can do it too. When does life allow you to decrease the difficulty when things get too hard?
@Seymour Its just a video game. Its not that serious.
@@es_three232 just a video game😂, we are way past just that when we got streamers making millions of dollars from “just a video game”. When y’all gonna learn you can actually use in game problem solving these devs design for your daily lives? Obviously you haven’t been bright enough to realize that thinking they’re “just a game”, definitely mentally strong either if you wanna get behind turning difficulty down for a participation trophy. 😂
@@es_three232 mad cause bad get good 👍
Or you could yank down the two guys on the ledge above the trap door and have them whittle oggdo down to nothing before he kills them then just hit him once or twice and kill him that way.
How do you do that jump dodge that you are using?
you get it after the second jedha mission
Basically what all these walkthroughs entail....level up and come back when you're op.
Ah cool thanks. Yeah i had the worst time with that boss without that ability..i think i died close to 50 times before i finally defeated it
why dont you use blocks?
"if you fear his tongue attack you'll probably die to it" ah yes, cause it isn't the tracking, the fact that its a one hit kill or the dodgy collision where it misses entirely as he turns clips into you and kills you
I did it all for a poncho this is outrageous is unfair I’m just glad I made two bandits do the work for me using force pull!
There are two Bedlam Smashers above the droids force pull them both down and then open the hatch and sit back and relax as they both destroy Oggdo
Bro...THIS STRATEGY RIGHT F'ING HERE. Took a couple of tries to get them both down and into the pit, but once I did, it was game over for Oggdo. It could not have worked out any more perfect. They got Oggdo down to like 5% and I finished him off. By that time, both of them had maybe 10% health, so they were no problem to deal with. Thanks for the tip dude!
U can get his health down to bout halfway by charging blaster shots and then getting ur life back and then shooting him again
I pulled in those bedlam smashers in for a bit help
Do you find the single blade as the best option?
I have won with those 2 hammer dudes but that's more of a cheese way i will beat him on my own another time for sure
If you pull both hammer guys into the space for the pit and jump off and let them go fight it, then if you are lucky you can wait until they finish and land a crit on it from above and end it.
That's what I did
That’s literally What I did 🤣
I just started the game. What planet hes on
i find it easier to stay relativly close to him and parry his normal bites then simply jump over his lunge it gives time for 2 to 3 hits then you can immediately parry to avoid damage and dodge his unblockable bite and get 2 more hits the tongue is the same just jump over it then for his acid breath you can just dodge to his side and throw your saber.
On Master Jedi, i force pull the Hammer Twins and have them fight him while i shoot and then follow up with a Square attack. Easy pickings after that.
I ended up luring the 2 bedlam smashers above the arena into the pit. They managed to bring the creature half way down. Took care of the rest of it within 15 minutes.
That's exactly what I did lol!
that's how i'm trying to beat him rn! it felt great finding that i could lure them down there, they come in clutch just gotta be careful with one hitting the spawn and one focusing on you, it's a little difficult to get them to both focus on the fkn frog on jedi master at least
@JustNikko I can't tell you how many times I've had to dash. Sometimes when the frog looks like it's about to attack its actually timed. Such a pain.
@@Redyank1194 finally beat the spawn, took like 15 tries but I did it 🤣
@JustNikko Well done man. Yeah, I tried so many times as well. Luring those two smashers is what it took for me. Some of the bosses are ridiculous on this game, I swear. Haha
"If you would be so kind as to spit at me that would also be really nice"
Yeah I only have 2 stims and no dash yet I’m still new lol
Pull the two hammer guys down off the ledge, trip the trap double jump and dash out
I used the hammer raiders on top, they fought with me. 😅
I never thought about jumping to avoid
Same! That tongue attack was the only thing killing me!
Same really a good way but i used the 2 hammer dudes not my best win😂
Thanks. Could have done with this video 34 deaths ago
Anyone else notice that when you die phases are out the window and bosses just start spamming everything from every phase?
I just died last hit for him from that fucking Indra bite cause I got nervous.
The best way to do this fight if you have the abilities is to start on the tower by the barn, fly down to the two fucks with the hammers, force lift and push them onto the platform and let them fight oggdo, when they die he’ll be at 15% health.
in new journey plus you get this magical perk called purity
You can force push the two guys with axes into the pit to fit him. When you first enter the base, they are at the top, but you need the right upgrades to get there.
You pull them down and you can’t push them at all
F this boss fight. He’s obnoxious. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I consistently have a handful of losses to major bosses and then beat them. But this boss is too fast towards the end of the fight and relentless for how big he is. First time I’ve genuinely been frustrated in this game to this point.
Awesome. Now show us how to beat 2 oggdo's ;)
I found a way the other day to pull both the bedlam smashers and all the droids to fight oggdo and it got him to like 1/8 of his healthbar, must've just gotten lucky but it was fun to cheese the fight😂
If found you mean read my comment from 11 days ago than sure
Well, I also did him during the Story 1st run...what I did...I killed the Bots and pulled the 2 Hammer Guards from the top down, opened the hulldoor while they both are on it and just jumped during that to the savezone n stayed top n watching how they fight the frog for you. at least 50% should be done like that. the rest should be fine. gl
I lured the two heavy bedlam raiders in to the pit
listen guys i beat him super easily just wait up at the platform with the droids u can kill the droids or make them go down there u need unrelenting pull for this to work btw so the enemies on the platform theyre like with hammers and allat u gon wanna pull them down and make them hit the boss 2 at the same time they do so much damage before they die the boss will be occupied and u can jump and get a secret attack on him wiping out a lot of his health the rest is easy
Pro tip guys, pull the two hammer dudes down from the cliff into the pit and they basically kill him for you
Doesn’t work they only do a quarter damage
ah, so what you're telling me is I need to not be here yet
Here I am trying to fight him while not having perks and certain skills. On Grand Master nonetheless.
Why is this the hardest boss I've ever faced in any game, ever.... WHY ?!
What I did was force pull those two hammer raiders above you and when they both on the platform I walked on it and they killed it for me
Listen I was desperate it was my 30th attempt I’m Jedi master btw
AND FOR FUCKING WHAT! PONCHO!? 😂😂😂
The real strategy is to pull the two dudes with hammers down into the arena with him and they wreck him that’s how I did it on grandmaster Jedi lol
I fucking hate this boss. I hated him in Fallen Order and I still hate him now. This enemy type is the only one that I feel okay about bumping the difficulty down to story mode to just get a quick and easy kill on the fucker. A high damage enemy with very few openings, no-tell attacks that come out in a split second, random patterns, tons of unblockable attacks, and a boatload of health is just amping the frustration level up to the max.
Pull the two hammer guy and have them fight oggdo then win
Rancors are easy. This guy is hard.
I killed him using super battle droids rockets lol
I dropped kicked this guy in crossguard stance and he just fell through the floor and died. Seems legit.
Patched. does not work any more he does not do the attack when you jump at him. Also jumping to his side just gets you caught by his tongue now.
No game boss found this early in the game should be able to end you with 1 attack, this boss is nonsense
What about the rancor? XD it's easy to find too... This game had a great difficult level
Lol the game is designed for you to grind and level up at will though. You could technically max some stuff out before you even start by killing the same enemies and then meditating over and over again. Get good or cry about it 😂
Anyone else just find this mofo roaming around in Koboh outside of that enclosure? Cause I did and I almost pooped my pants. This is in new game plus btw.
I just stood behind the crate in the back and threw my saber at him, beat him in like a minute.
My throw just goes through him
0:41 hey there’s like a completely normal shortcut just to the right of the point, has a grapple point
Ogo is easy in fallen order but in this game he's on steroids
I beat Spawn of Oggdo early in the game before I had the dash & I only had 3 stances. I used dual wield almost the entire game. It was not easy at the point I beat him. Later I beat the dual Oggdo's from the force Tear very easily.
The harder fight until I figured it out was the dual Rancor's on Curascant. After dieing about 15+times I finally figured out how to attack them and it was easy.
Thanks for all the spoilers...
@@122Rosco I didn't give any spoilers. I just said which stance I used. It's not even the best stance just a personal preference. As far as what I fought, it's not a big secret and if you are watching these video's it doesn't sound like you're worried about spoilers to begin with.
@@michaelfesinmeyer2061 🤦♂️ dual oggdos, force tear and dual rancors?? They are what we call spoilers and there should be a warning that you are about to talk about something irrelevant to the clip.
I watched this vid and read the comments to get tips on how to beat the boss. Oggdo's spawn, nothing else. I now know what's coming up, so, thanks for that!
Jeez.
@@122Rosco They are force tears so you don't have to fight them unless you want to, but hey I'm sorry if I spoiled it for you. Sincerely.
How is it the hardest boss in the game is a frog
Er... that short cut is pointless.
Just use the grapple point on the tower and cross the bridge.
“I’ve never not killed the droids up top”….. literally the trick to beating him
sure, maybe on easy
@@Tedworthington fr they do close to no damage lmao
i just turned it on easy and pressed x
if you upgrade your pull ability
you can pull the two hammer Raiders into the pit and its gg
but if you want to do the fight, i'd reccommend the perk that powers up your hits when you switch forms
You don’t even have to enter the arena to beat him. Just use blaster stance. Shoot him a couple times. Find some enemies in the area. Shoot him again. Rinse and repeat.
This guy frustrated me. I had him on the ropes, and he pinned me by attacking me 3 times in a row. So, I lowered it to Story and crushed him, and raised it back up.
Too much work im just turning it on story mode
Just beat this guy with complete bullshittery using the dark side ability after beating the game lmao.
seems like there should be an easier way than to just poke him every 2 minutes.....
still one of the worst boss designs ive ever played in my life, but still love the game
This games bosses are difficult because of one reason! The camera is utter dog shit and can't lock on to enemies
Now do it without being a cheap ass ;without dash. 😉
Just keep refilling your blaster ammo by fighting the enemies around you & using “Energizing Flurry”. Then just shoot him from above the hole, charging every single shot for max damage. Be careful though, don’t shoot too quickly because he might jump away from the blast & then you’ve waste a charge shot. So wait for him to jump first, he usually does so after getting hit with a blast. Charge shoot, wait, charge shoot, wait. Refill your ammo when needed. Rinse & repeat until he dies. Should need about 3 or 4 fully charge clips to take him down, but just stay above the hole so you don’t have to worry about actually “fighting” him. No damage risk, & the tastiest cheese ever. I mean, it’s not like he fights fair after all…
This fight shouldn’t be this hard
What’s fun about going back as a higher level , this isn’t a helpful video ngl I thought it would be balanced n not sweaty , it’s my first couple times fighting it n this video didn’t help
Thanks for the tips. This fight looks boring on this difficulty.
If you actually fight him straight up instead of how dude did it. Like accurately timing doges of the bites and stuff it can’t get pretty fluid. Final phase where he belly flops is pure trash if you ask me though.
These tips suck if the dude just chomps you everytime, literally made it harder
No offense but this tactic is awful lol. I spent like an hour trying your way. Looked at the comments and someone mentioned the blaster. I killed him in like 30 seconds using charged up blaster shots and then rushing in and hitting him a few times before dipping out.
I will never understand how people find these kinds of battles skillful. It’s literally cheesing the enemy until you whither his HP. No offense but that’s not skill to me.
No point in trying to “skillfully” beat an enemy that has absolutely broken tracking
This boss sucks and is poorly designed. You go from having a lightsaber to feeling like you are fighting with a stick. The force is useless and you have to essentially spam hit and runs for the whole fight. Absolutely garbage and ruins the flow and enjoyment of the game.
What were they thinking???
