You must have some outrageous luck because I'm doing exactly what you're doing and dying 3 of 4 times. Tulakt took me 14 tries on my own until I gave up and looked up a tutorial.
I had the biggest problem with her too and probably lost about the same amount of times until I got lucky.
@@enigmaz9 Same. The most frustrating moment of my playthrough, and the only one that made me ragequit. That and plants taking an hour of real time to grow are the worst new things of the game.
@@nomic655 Yeah, I come very close to rage quitting with her too, after my 12th or 13th loss, I put the control down for a minute, and gave it one last shot and I barely beat her. Caij, I think was one of the easier ones, I think its a pretty cool side game though, just to mess around with and try out all the different pieces. When I first came across those two and saw they were going to add some type of game, I was excited, I thought I was finally going be able to play the game from the M-Falcon.
Daaaang she was super easy for me. Got her on my second try like a natural. You just gotta have skill and IQ
@@jakeanderson5339 Nah mate. You just gotta be lucky. After deploying your troops it's literally completely luck based what they'll do after.
It’s fun putting groups of enemies together and watching them fight. I really wish there was a multiplayer version of this.

Star Wars Galaxy of heroes is exactly that but it’s for mobile
This is one of the worst "tactics" mini games I've ever seen. There's no rhyme or reason to what your troops and enemies are doing and the outcome can change between tries making it impossible to strategize properly. It's all made worse by the fact you have to win multiple rounds in a row but one defeat and it's over.

I'm pretty sure the troops that attack first is based on who you place first, also just use flame trooper lol
@crackyourpepper bro it's straight luck, obviously u can choose good units but due to not being able to control them its straight luck, u can put a melee enemy and they might just not attack before the enemy and get 1 shot. it's straight luck

I just dislike the instant loss if you fail a wave. The opponent can fail several waves before final loss but Cal loses at 1. This is outrageous, It's unfair!
@11:10 when you’re on round 3 vs scoova you can use a droideka and a single roller mine and win with a ridiculous amount of points saved for round 4

I love using the chicken, mine and the robot who can roll and shoot and has a shield (don’t know his name in English)…. The chicken monster is soooo good and very affordable. One shot kill any melee unit with a single charge, totally OP, and only cost 5
The Rawka, Roller Mine, and Droideka. You my friend found the biggest cheat code in holotactics. I literally used them and won every match.

Great guide, some of the fights didn't work for me using the unit configuration you suggested so I had to either carry more points or use a different unit. This last battle with Tulli I used 2 heavy gunners + a rocket troop with all the melee guys to draw attention.

Probably don't make the video with a screw up in it...I'd either edit it out or redo the video honestly. Still appreciate it and it helped but got RNG screwed on Skoova because of the mistake

The chicken units are extremely strong. Thier charge attack will one shot most enemies and critically damage others. They have low health but if they can get a hit in it can really turn the tide for you. I remember bursting out laughing when I just used only chickens for some of the later fights and was steam rolling.
with T-1N8's 3rd round I did 3 minigunners and 4 raider vets cause other wise they just would kill the monsters in time and wouldnt be able to get the droideka

Do it faster so i have to pause every 0.5 sec... anyway, woth ur combo losing more then winning. Im gonna watch another video..
You know, my strategy for anyone struggling is to have death fotter,( personally I use b1 droids the melee version which only cost 1 point)
And overwhelm the enemy with ranged units like stormtroopers, or if you have enough you can get a droideka which is op. Hope This will help anyone struggling
Huge thanks to you man. Every strategy worked perfectly. For the very last one I put down 2 heavy assault troopers and my own AT-ST and it was over in seconds lol. Easy win. Thanks alot. I was stuck on Merrin lol. Saved me hours of retrying.

Just use droidekas and maybe some trash units like the one point melee b1s as a distraction to win 90% as droidekas are op sometimes u need some help from other units in big battles tho but always use droidekas

Thank you so much for this. Did exactly these tactics for the last 2 challengers and didn't lose once (one was pretty close). I just couldn't keep doing it myself, I swear it seems your units are dumbed down in comparison to the enemies. If you play the same enemies as them everytime you most certainly lose 99% of the time lol
I even saw one of my storm troopers shooting in a 180 degree away from the only target that was left...

I know this is an old video but for the final battle against the AT-ST you can throw one of your own, with one raider veteran or one heavy assault trooper and it’s basically overkill. None of your troops will die.

Purge Trooper Commander makes quick work of the enemies, they’re fast, nimble, and always spamming their blasters and charged shots

Just use the skriton. That beast is absolutely OP against infantry and blasters, only weakness is explosives, but apart from that it can block literally anything

I had to use this tutorial to get the remaining rewards but had zero interest in learning this game or its strategies, but thank you for the help.
Use Droideka on Tulakt. Think about what you're figting against. You'll want Droideka for anyone Melee & Blaster. You want that back right or back left so it can do ranged damage while your B1s take the Aggro. Try to stagger melee with ranged & hit on both fronts with different enemies.
Round 1 for caij just do two flame throwers a commander range and a commander melee you end up with 12 extra points
Had enough points to throw a mogu at the last round 😂

Going against Greez, he beat me every time in the first round setting it up like you did, until I moved Raider Veteran to the opposite corner.

One tip for people, whenever he's using 2 heavy assault troopers (12p), you can just place a droideka (12p) at one of the 2 spots instead and you will notice a big difference

Use the B2 Droid instead of heavy troopers, and it all becomes very easy. Same points and they do range plus melee

Every single time against Greez, those nose-chickens always go backwards & everyone ends up dying by one grenade. Over and Over. So IDK if it's from the updates or what, but they don't do that against Greez on Wave 1.
Honestly half way through the video I realized just use the scorpion it can basically destroy ever round easily
Last wave of Skoova with that Droideka… my god. Been doing exactly how you doing it, and I already died like 8 times..
I wish there was a "skip fight" button cause I got the absolute worst luck ever for Tulli, it took me 10 tries to get past her second battle

I dont get how to get BD1 to scan dead enemies for this. I dont have all the troops and when i go to the wild and kill them i stand next to them and BD1 doesnt do anything. What am I doing wrong?

I talk fast but I literally had to slow you down because you’re FLYING through the selections. I know the video is long, but keep your pace in mind moving forward for some of your audience-especially given that it’s a tutorial.

I didn't even think to use the raider units. I kept going rockets and heavy blasters. Some times I would win out of shear luck or because a trooper would throw a grenade in the right spot at the right time.
Hammer and missile drones beat about everything with points left for me.
this guy must have absurd luck, i've tried at least 20 times on the tulli and haven't made it past the second round
It's not quite Gwent in Witcher 3 at release but one can see the bones here if they want to create an actual card type game.

Just use Rover explosive droids when you can. Against big
I just used alternating combinations of SBDs, Heavy Troopers, and the little charging birds. Later I would use Skirtos.
That Tulli AT-ST was so disappointing.
This and the fucking priorite collecting for derma's shop are the bane of my existence in these types of games.

Bruv if you’re gonna say you messed up, then edit it out and put a disclaimer in the previous fight to say “don’t add another veteran”, etc. so we don’t lose the next fight as we follow! Wasted time with an entire round
Bro literally the last character and the last round on that was literally the easiest round I had out of them all. Did exactly what you did and my heavy assault troopers melted the at st in seconds
