This series had a lot of amazing redemptive qualities to it. Gary Payton and Shaq got to run it back and avenged their 2004 finals loss against the Pistons! And they get to brag that they beat the pistons while the Pistons core was still intact and still in their prime! Shaq looks like he got himself in shape and shot 69% in this series! Makes a huge difference when your shooting guard actually passes the ball to you. And then in the finals, Payton, Alonzo Mourning, Antoine walker, and Jason Williams all finally won a championship. None more deserving than Mourning and Payton.

Pistons fan here, kudos to Miami. They played like they wanted it more, and our offense was painful to watch at times, despite how great our defense was

Don't forget Jwill who was seen as someone earlier who could never lead a team to a championship. He was too out of control in Sacramento and Memphis.
