- Zoochosis is a first-person psychological bodycam horror simulation game developed by Clapperheads. Players will embody a newly appointed night zookeeper tasked with ensuring the safety of the animals. Things spiral for the worst when an unknown parasite begins to infect the animals of the zoo transforming them into bloodthirsty mutants. Explore the zoo to make a cure in order to stunt the spread of the infection, or die trying. Zoochosis is coming to PC in Q2 2024.

Finally a game set in Australia where you take on the murderous wildlife they have over there.
It even had a dropbear at the end
It’s not about facing them, it’s about saving them.
It could have been worse, you could have to fight Australians.
@@crash-testproductions9341it wouldn't be winnable

Guys not all giraffes are like this.
Only 2/3rds of them are
I'm not fooled. A giraffe wrote this.
Nice try Mr.giraffe
That sounds like a giraffe sympathizer to me
Wdym not all?
"The animals here do get a bit... quirky... at night."
" Har.. Har.. Har..har"
-🐻
quirky is an understatement
Hopefully this game has bears
The sudden transformation of the giraffe was great. It just suddenly heaving was reminiscent of the start of the Plague of Madness from Primal, when the Mad Sauropod first starts behaving strangely.

My first thought:
“THAT IS TOO MANY FINGERS!”
So that's why Giraffes were banished from the Boiling Isles in The Owl House. 💜
Lol
Hey, that spider giraffe is legitimately one of the most unsettling things I've ever seen. Well done.
Can’t imagine the other zoo creatures 😅
Damn, then you probably haven't seen the 6th episode of the primal series when dinosaurs turn into zombie made by Adult Swim none then less
@@irkenempire2849 That brontosaurus melting into the lava was hellish. Genndy Tartakovsky really captured the grotesqueness of sickness.

Not ending a horror game trailer by having the creature lunge at the camera by the end challenge: IMPOSSIBLE
💀
Not even games, just horror in general
being attacked by an animal is one of the most ancient human fears there is, so it makes sense
its a guilty pleasure okay
Because it’s fun every time lol
Five Nights at the Zoo. Too bad we won't get another decade of MatPat theorizing the intricate lore of this game.
He will maybe play it on gtlive. And work a little on the game theory episode if they make one about this game

As a Zookeeper myself, Can 100% say this is relatable.
For real?
like real animal can go to.crazy by stressing, rabies and etc like stranger thing.
You mean animal jail keeper?
Well, lions are active at night, so do some other predators. Zookeepers have seen the side of animals no one have seen

I’m sensing very strong ‘John Carpenter’s Thing’ vibes from the parasite…terrifying and beautiful at the same time

Now there are 2 zoo horror games coming out, this one and zoonomaly, so excited to see youtubers play them!
finally a game about a standard zoo experience in australia
Finally, horror game with infected zombie/parasite animals as the main enemies. Looks very interesting.
Need more of that genre, I’m tired of ghosts, more monsters and creatures
It reminded me of the horror manga called Jinmen, about animals having human faces and starts attacking people like a zombie outbreak
@@onetwopikachu8122 Link?
ever heard of RE? Parasite Eve? Dino Crisis?
@paps3841 to be fair, RE isn't really all that scary, and the animals are rare (besides the dogs) but I've never heard of parasite eve. I'll check it out!
This looks like it has potential to be fantastic, never seen a horror game with a setting like this, zoo animals turning into horrifying amalgamations is a damn brilliant concept, looking forward to playing!
Zoonomaly crying in the corner
Don't be ridiculous
This game is based on the everyday life of a night gaurd in Australian zoos

That giraffe thing was legitimately creepy. Don't think I've seen something so unsettling in a game before lmao
Out of the blue mutation will always be terrifying.
FINALLY
This and Zoonomaly are games i'm definitely looking forward too! The concept of turning zoos into horror settings is SO underrated, I'm absolutely loving the potential this has!!
Villainizing every living creature except humans is LITERALLY what everyone is doing now. It's so overdone that it's honestly infuriating.

A true to form body horror mutant game. Hell yes!
John Carpenter and David Cronenberg would be pleased X3
As a zoology major who loves body horror, hell yes.
This reminds me of that one episode of primal where a dinosaur is infected by a ‘zombie mutant’ virus
"Plague of madness",if you forgot the name of the episode.
This genuinely feels like something I've dealt with in a dream.
Maybe it's just me, but the mutated giraffe and kangaroo instantly made me think of the monsters from Parasite Eve.
it made me think of unnatural habitat
It's inspired from "the thing" film

Gosh, Planet Zoo sure have a lot of DLC..
If the game has difficulty setting the hardest difficulty better be Australia mode
"Now your a night zookeeper, the job is not difficult, you have nothing to worry about" sure _Phone Guy,_ at least this time it's not haunted children's robots your downplaying.
The theme of this game is very fitting. A lot of animals kept in captivity, are all experiencing a different form of psychosis. This is the first I've seen of someone actually making light on that, but in their own way of course.
Humans are the subject of captive psychosis the most.
This is about disease, and how dangerous zoo animals can be, if anything.
Mostly, it's a game that doesn't exist.
Tbh hippos are already pretty malicious even without this otherworldly body horror addition to distressed zoo animals. If they also insert a carnivorouscor cannibalistic mutant hippo in this it better be the final boss.

The Idea looks great. Tho I’m cautious to see the game in action, some of the shown scares wouldn’t work in an unscripted game so let’s see how that turns out. The Design of the Parasite is very creative, gives of the thing vibes, has great potential for some creative animal monsters.
Well it says announcement trailer not gameplay trailer, so these are likely just scripted renders made to look like the game’s actually gameplay to just hype people up
To be honest it seems to be literally the same as "Unnatural Habitat". Search it.

When something says "there's nothing to worry about" there's definitely something to worry about
This is like the movie THE THING
As some on Twitter said, The Thing but in a zoo it's an amazing idea and it's a wonder no one thought of it before
This looks just like a Trevor Henderson series. It seems close enough that the creators might just want to credit him for the inspiration.
See Unnatural Habitat
The body transformation reminds me of that unfinished game called ill.
Strangely enough I’ve made monsters similar to having a horrific appearance but the difference is they’re circus themed, and the have rather 25% organic horror, and more 75% mechanical horror kinda like if the Thing and the Beetleworks from epic Mickey fused together
Imagine you go to the zoo at night and saw these💀💀
