@allistairc123 Thank you so much for this video! We had an old Ford TW35 on out farm that I basically grew up driving and in the early 90s we got a brand new 8970 New Holland. That tractor had amazing power compared to everything I'd driven before it. Remembered a fond piece of my child hold when I saw this video. Thank you so much!
@@00joetrooper You are right, it can have 300 hp, but if a 200 hp is bundled with tracks,better transmission and better efficiency, then the 200 hp will beat it no problem ( this is just an example)
Tw is on cast rear rims to start and outer weights for the back comes to 200kg at rear more then it's got constant mesh box so no brainer for the power 🤷
TW-35 185 horse 8830 195hp same engines 8970 240hp New 7.5 genesis if im not mistaken also70 series had the awesome super steer which seen in a tm 150 which was absolutely brill tractor as well it makes turning at ends with sower even quicker not so good if you on haulage duties

We have a 1994 Gensis 8970; bought new; rated 210 HP , tongue in cheek ! With a 50% torque backup !! It cranks Big HP! Its got close to 10000 hours , never had Head or Pan off ! Runs as strong as the day we bought it! Best engine on our farm! We also bought a 8770 in 1995 2WD Mega Flow! Still have it! Same results!

New holland 8790 = 240hp VS tw 35= 187hp😁
Hp dont matter on a concrete yard its weight, grip and driver experience

This is about SO many other things than just the pure power: Tires, front weights, gears/transmission, total weight etc.

Exactamente, traction force, not power.
Neither was stalling so this is simply an inefficient way of determining which tractor is heavier.
Take weights of front of 8970 and put them on TW then post that video
