Seeing actual footage of San Gimignano makes me to wnat to go even more than the Assasins Creed II did.
Nice Drone shots! The music is from Assassin's Creed Odyssey and the game sets place in ancient Greece. However i don't even know that this music ACTUALLY fits perfectly in all european-classic-roman looking town! Love it.
It fits perfectly because most of AC fans fell in love with Ezio's time, and San Gimignano is one of the most iconic places in AC, full of high towers.

Hope is not too late, yet YES in most of the italian city you basically cannot fly, if you want to make videos you have to pay for the authorisation! There are some places where you can actually fly up to 25mt and others where you can reach 60 or 120, if you want to make some video totally legally check out the d-flight website to see where and how you can fly

Keep in mind that if you did not get a specific authorization from city hall and a waiver from ENAC (the national civil airspace control agency in Italy), most likely your drone footage
is illegal. Florence and other medieval cities are ENAC protected sites and cities, and it is illegal to film without special permission from the city and ENAC. Many foreigners like you fly their drones illegally over the old cities, risking people's safety and breaking the law. They hope to leave with the footage without getting caught, taking advantage of Italy fewer inner-city controls and enforcement. Until a drone falls, hurts someone, or gets stuck in a building causing incalculable harm. Then all the shit will hit the fan. It is something you should take into account. If you did get authorization (which, by experience, requires a lot of work, then my bad)

Florence and most of the locations in your video are flight-restricted and require permission from ENAC, as well as a specific authorization from the city hall itself to film for documentary purposes. If you did not obtain either, you filmed illegally and put others at risk. yes, you need to follow ENAC (Italy's civil aerospace agency) rules, be a certified drone pilot, and stay out of restricted zones (most medieval towns and cities in Tuscany are no-fly zones), or obtain special permission to film in those areas. See here: @t

great flying and footage! but....way too much time in florence, civita di bagnoregio and san gimignano. tuscany has SO much more you could have put in video. there are thousands of more hill towns, vineyards, coastline, beaches, etc. and the music....not really a good fit.
