Activities:
It’s a popular surfing spot: One of the most consistent surf breaks in Florida is Sebastian Inlet's first peak, located next to the north jetty.
Sebastian Inlet State Park is part of the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail & is home to many types of shorebirds and migratory species.
Sebastian Inlet and the surrounding waters provide fantastic Florida fishing for beach, river & inlet anglers. Impressive catches are often made from the two jetties extending into the Atlantic Ocean. There is a boat launch at the back of the campground.
Canoes and kayaks can be paddled to islands and along the mangrove-fringed shoreline of the Indian River Lagoon.
Rentals are available from Bayside Marina. Call 321-724-5424 for inquiries or visit their website. www.Surfsidegrillandadventures.com
A multi-use, paved path runs through the park parallel to state road A1A and, in sections, parallel to the Indian River Lagoon. Bicyclists will enjoy this 40-mile-long path with many beach access points.
3 mountain bicycle trails are located within the park - a combination of off-road & paved courses. They begin & end at the State Park Bayside Marina.

Best way to see the park... I can choose a great site before I make reservations.. Thanks A&L
Thanks. We really do try to let you “see” the campground before you get there 🤗
Hey guys! We live 25 min from Sebastian Inlet! Great video!
You are lucky. It’s a great area. Wish we could have stayed longer 🤗 And thank you
Love this video and how it shows the sites, the number and water/amps. Thanks for this awesome video!
Thank you. 🤗 We do all our campground tours like this. We try to show everything we would want to see before we go to a campground

Many times i just got there to kayaking and enjoy the day.
God bless both of you 🙏
It’s a beautiful area. You are lucky to be close 🤗
Love your channel. Glad I found you guys
Thank you so much. We are glad you found us, too 🤗
Your videos are so helpful when planning a camping trip. Showing the individual campsites allows for prioritizing for ones needs
Chris,
Glad we could help. We actually look at our own videos when booking a place we have been to 😁
Alice
Nice job on the review Larry. It reminds me a little bit of Bahia Honda. Love the museum.
Yes. Well we couldn’t get in to Bahia 😉
I liked the format and the signs in the bottom right corner were a great touch
Thank you. We do that for all our campground tours 🤗
Your campground review and visual tour was excellent. This is your niche !! I hope all is well!
Thanks. Larry likes to think his DIYs are pretty good too 😉
Another great tour! Thank you.👍🏼😎
Thanks, Rick for always coming by 🤗
@@DownsizingMakesCents My pleasure.👍🏼😎
Thanks for posting this as well as all your campground reviews. I use them to pick out our sites for our upcoming Florida trip next winter. Booking for next February 2024!!! Take care guys and I hope all is well!!!
Love reading comments like this.
If we camp somewhere we filmed, we look at our old videos 😉
We had super bad noseeums so be prepared
@@DownsizingMakesCents Thanks for the heads up! Hoping for wind so I can do some wing foiling and keep the bugs away at eh same time!!!
Great video! We're are going in 2 weeks!
Have fun!
Here’s our link to the “fun” there

Looks like a very nice park. I was surprised to see so many empty sites. I know Bob from BluWave stays here a lot. He does the shark tooth stuff there. The dolphins was be very cool to see. Crapper house looks good. That is always a good thing. Nice tour y'all. Hope you are doing well and enjoying being back in FL. After that cold we had here I am jealous. lol Y'all be safe.
Dolphins and didn’t pelicans was my favorite part. The noseeums though 🤬
We are just leaving Gainesville- had a blast with the kids.
Hope all your animals stay warm 🤗
OK well here’s my second favorite area in Florida. Of course my first favorite is my property that I own in Salt Springs area. But I love Coco Melbourne, Sebastian. It really truly is where my heart lies. I’m hoping that we can get some little boat dock down there in Sebastian
Salt Springs is awesome
Sebastian is a different kind of awesome 😉
Hey Larry and Alice! Such a pretty campground with really nice sites.
It really is! Just the noseeums we’re terrible
Love love love your video. What kind of music is playing love it!!
Nice video 👍👍👍👍👌
Thanks. We know these videos are very helpful
Very nice campground and nice campsite. Saw the squirrel. Did ever get in the bag? That was funny it looking in the bag. I like that the sites are decent size.
Probably most aggressive campground squirrels we have ever seen 😁
Nice size sites in most of the campground
Thanks for all the campground details! I had wondered if there was any shade at those sites. And I didn’t realize the campground had a boat ramp where I could launch my kayak!
That’s exactly why we do these - to help RVers see a campground before they go. We put in the info we would like to know 🤗
@@DownsizingMakesCents 💖
We stayed recently and twice a day, early when the sun comes up and at dusk, the no see ums are HORRIBLE! Nothing stopped them except a heavy dose of deet!
It’s such a shame because it’s a beautiful area.
I saw campers with large fans. But we had to keep doors and windows shut in our RV - the little buggers could fit through the screen holes 😩
Love from nepal 🙏✌️😍
🤗 back from Florida
@@DownsizingMakesCents wow amazing✌️😍to get your positive response
Portovenere is also lovely as is Portofino
Chris,
Thanks for the suggestion- once our salvage RV is relaxed with one we can tow, we may check it out,
Alice
This place looks great if you get the right site. Some of those sites have absolutely no privacy and it feels like you're on top of your neighbor. If only it was full hookup. Having to move the camper to dump after 3 days is just not fun. As always, thank you for the detail review and still the best out there.
We use a Blueboy and can go about 10-12 days. I take Navy showers and Larry uses bathhouse.
There isn’t a lot of privacy but there’s so much to do away from the site
@@DownsizingMakesCents that's a great idea to enjoy this beautiful place.
I work there as a volunteer ranger!!!
Jacoby, what an awesome place to work
Alice
Long point park is a county campground on the north side of the inlet and is also an excellent campground.
I’ll look into it. Sometimes our rig size or their price doesn’t make it a possibility
Thanks for the tip 🤗
Shhh...it's a secret! Longpoint is wonderful, though...next time you come thru!
I saw there is a no see ums bug problem. Did you guys experience that? Nice video!
We actually put in the video that we bought a clam for the noseeums but it didn’t work. They were bad
@@DownsizingMakesCents No-see-ums are in the grass. Always place a ground cover that is larger than your clam base. Works for us.
@@mikeandshawnahual4072 good tip
where can i find the map in 2:26? Thank you in advance :) I looked, but can't seem to find it. :/
We usually include them in a blog post but forgot to do one on Sebastian. We also like to get maps printed when we are planning a trip. Send us an email and we will email you one. Larry
Is there a campground for only tent camping
We don’t normally look at tent camping. I think I remember some sites near the restaurant - it’s been awhile.
Call the ranger station.
They had a lot of hurricane damage so things change.
as a kid in the 70's their way not a campground here growing up 10 miles away from the house
I didn’t look up when it was built. I usually do.
No-see-ums here are a huge problem.. never again.. 🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟
Ugh. They are terrible. Maybe in cold months not so bad?
We covered up at dusk when they were at their worst
