  • Finally camped at a popular beach east coast campground! As long time Florida residents, we have visited Sebastian Inlet many times - mainly for the surf. But we finally scored a reservation & camped in our Grand Design Solitude 35 foot fifth wheel trailer.
In this campground tour, we show you every single site, as well as the amenities in the campground.

CONS: boat ramp is through the campground; noseeums; spigot/ power placement; sites 15, 16, 17, 18 too close together; day use noise & traffic; inconsistent info between websites & printed documents
RESERVATIONS: reserve.floridastateparks.org... (terrible new system - little info on sites)

CAMPING: 51 campsites w/ water, electric, fire ring and picnic tables are adjacent to the inlet. There are accessible restroom facilities, a dump station, laundry, garbage, recycle, and a Wi-Fi hotspot near the marina. Beach wheelchairs are available at no charge.
PRIMITIVE CAMPING: located at the Bayside Marina, most are walk-in/carry-in sites, but a couple can take a vehicle drive up and drop off. surfsidegrillandadventures.co...
Friends of Sebastian Inlet: support the park & 2 museums located within it - The McLarty Treasure Museum highlights the 1715 Spanish treasure fleet, while the Sebastian Fishing Museum chronicles the history of the area's fishing industry. There is also a small gift shop. friendsofsebastianinletstatep...
    Activities:
It’s a popular surfing spot: One of the most consistent surf breaks in Florida is Sebastian Inlet's first peak, located next to the north jetty.
Sebastian Inlet State Park is part of the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail & is home to many types of shorebirds and migratory species.
Sebastian Inlet and the surrounding waters provide fantastic Florida fishing for beach, river & inlet anglers. Impressive catches are often made from the two jetties extending into the Atlantic Ocean. There is a boat launch at the back of the campground.
Canoes and kayaks can be paddled to islands and along the mangrove-fringed shoreline of the Indian River Lagoon.
Rentals are available from Bayside Marina. Call 321-724-5424 for inquiries or visit their website. www.Surfsidegrillandadventures.com
A multi-use, paved path runs through the park parallel to state road A1A and, in sections, parallel to the Indian River Lagoon. Bicyclists will enjoy this 40-mile-long path with many beach access points.
3 mountain bicycle trails are located within the park - a combination of off-road & paved courses. They begin & end at the State Park Bayside Marina.

Crapper house looks good. That is always a good thing. Nice tour y'all. Hope you are doing well and enjoying being back in FL. After that cold we had here I am jealous. lol Y'all be safe.

This place looks great if you get the right site. Some of those sites have absolutely no privacy and it feels like you're on top of your neighbor. If only it was full hookup. Having to move the camper to dump after 3 days is just not fun. As always, thank you for the detail review and still the best out there.

We use a Blueboy and can go about 10-12 days. I take Navy showers and Larry uses bathhouse.
