Some great tips here guys! Definitely an important skill to learn flipping the wing on land so it becomes easier on the water. Something I struggled with a lot when I first started was leash management. Especially the board leash, when I fell in and climbed back on the board I'd always get it wrapped around my leg or on the front side of the mast. It took me a good few sessions to learn to take the time to think about the leashes when I fell in, and make sure I didn't get tangled up.

Enjoyed the episode! I have a long history windsurfing/kiting, but always good to remember the basic stuff which we take for granted and is now natural instinct! Great points on beginners learning how wind directions work and how to read the texture of the water and how to read swell/waves/conditions! LMAO, on Damien's "walk of shame" comments, no matter how good we think we are, we all still end of there! 🤣

What about adding a diy small propeller.... like e-foil ??????

Keep it simple. Learning the start sequence is the key and a motor does not really help imo. Plus propellers and wing fabric don't mix well
