@@dakshmaan1010dimensity has an AI feature embedded in the chip itself allowing to process photos efficiently. And it has immortalis GPU much better than the sd gen 3 GPU.
The fact that dimensity 9300 loses 24% battery is just crazy. This goes to show that how efficient snapdragon processors are with only 7% battery drop and near equivalent stability. This is why the little efficiency cores matter. Not always do we play game or do editing on our phones.
The 8 gen 4 is rumoured to score 10K in GB6 multi-core with only 8 watts of power consumption.
Efficiency cores are not even used during Benchmarks or gaming. They are used for background tasks during normal used. Geekerwan has measured system power usage and the dimensity 9300 bodies the snapdragon 8 gen 3. Its the better chip by a margin.

They are used for simple day to day tasks for opening or closing apps or browsing the web or using social media or maybe even for watching movies. Inclusion of battery life test would have given better picture. Performance with efficiency would have given a clear winner. It's a draw until then.

@@arjunsingh4514 battery used in a heavy benchmark should not be taken as a measure of battery life. Idle power draw, power draw during different use case i.e. mobile network , wifi, calls. All need to considered while looking for battery life, a normal user will not run benchmark ever.

@@arjunsingh4514bhai IQOO is a gaming oriented smartphone whereas Vivo is not so, you cannot put them in the same arena.
IQOO has better cooling technology and software for heavy graphics which should take the credit instead of SD 8 Gen 3.

Geekerwan has measured the system power of both the chips. Dimensity 9300 will run cooler at the same performance of Snapdragon 8 gen 3 with higher peak multicore performance. Its simply the better chip. The rest depends on cooling and dvfs implementation of vendors.

In terms of stability and optimization Qualcomm is very good.....mediatek should work on it.....i think due to this reason many brands prefer 8Gen3 over the DM 9300

But battery life is much worse as we saw. you switch out efficacy core for performance core the fact that apple and Snapdragon is close in performance but losses much less battery
Dude In throttle test look at the gips score of D9300 even after throttle to 79 percent the minimum score is 440000 which is still higher than average score of gen 3 it means it is better than the gen3😂😂😂
this is true, but it is hotter and discharges more when compared to Snapdragon
During the cpu throttling test, you should not focus on the percentage stability. Rather focus on Average GIPS per second. That would give much better idea regarding sustained performance.
It’s better to look at graphics than at numbers, and here Snap is better
Snapdragon SoC has a bunch of advantages in the form of emulation performance and better driver support for things like windows emulation.

From 100% to 93% battery is not comparable to 39% to 24% since phones often have a huge buffer before it drops from 100 to 99%

Snapdragon will always have an edge over Dimensity because of its efficient architecture. This was the similar case last year with 9200 and 8 Gen 2.

There is a new and better chip 9300 Plus by Mediatek! It has combined all big chores in it, and i think some brands have already announced some phones
If you are checking battery drain then it is well to test it from same lvl. Below30% battery drains little faster.
You won't believe me but dimensity 9300 could get cheaper in hand than sd8 gen 3 as iqoo launched neo 9 pro in China with 9300 and on adding taxes and all, it could come in India in 43000

The dimensity 9300+ oppo find x7 ultra is 490$ and the snapdragon 8 gen 3 version is 890$+ so almost double depending where u look. Is it worth double.. does the 8 Gen 3 utilizing better photography api’s and I DONO know if the dimensity 9300+ will work in USA

Looks like dimensity 9300 is very power starved... Single X4 core can draw about 5W, so having 5 of them will throttle all of them to oblivion. Medium cores are much better for multicore performance, as they scale much better at lower power draw.

The Main Reason That Many People/Company prefer Snapdragon because Mediatek Dimensity is that type of processor which run so fast and smooth in Early Stage but after 1 year it gets slower and gives laggy performance , We Can Say It Is The Elder Brother or Tuned Version Of Exynos 🫠

There is a rumour regarding 8 gen 3, Qualcomm rumoured to use tsmc 3nm node for 8 gen 3 for galaxy and might lead to an overclocked version , which might bring real neck to neck competition with apple since apple has launched 3nm A17 pro bionic. I am excited to see Galaxy unpacked event coming this month let's hope for 8 gen 3 with 3nm overclocked version 😅❤

I think the Dimensity 9300+ is very impressive one, Dimensity 9300+ sounds like a monster! Crazy excited to see benchmarks for this chip.
I get multiscore on geekbench 6 on my s24 ultra ranging from 6700 all the way to 7300! I'm.not convinced at the accuracy of these benchmark scores that's quite a difference. And I didn't run.them when the phone was hot then cold etc. These were obtained on random days.
Dimensity Degrades faster, and within months itself you can see drop in performance. Thats all.
Really curious to see how the dimensity 9300 Plus performs in real-world use. Early benchmarks look promising though!
It will be interesting to see phone with 8 gen 3 that tuned more for camera like Find X7 ultra. I feel the test result will be different than iqoo 12
From the comparison I can say 9300 is best but at the same time it will eat battery like nuts so SOT will differ also the heat will be concerning in summers but Vivo V3 chip is so much tuned it will take care of sharing load but battery is battery so only concern is SOT
That GPU test is kinda lazy. Both phones should start with the same battery percentage.

I find it funny when processors are being compared to one another, there is no point on comparing or tuning for gaming when OS is the main culprit which makes us regret buying high end phone in the first place.

Apart from power efficiency The Mediatek Dimensity 9300 is clearly superior whether it is CPU or GPU or in Stability so in my perspective Mediatek is the More Powerful Beast here... And to even think that Mediatek is the chip that finally beat Apple's CPU reign in Geekbench in Multicore is an Achievement itself... So my take would be Mediatek...

I think I might SKIP mtk 9300 because 8 gen 3 has much better Ai features compared to it.
A27 pro is the best processor because of it's reliability and better gpu and more battery life, also iphone 15 pro max has less energy usage between flagship smartphones
Snapdragon could have been colour coded red, became a little confusing after a while.
This shows 9300 heats a lot as well as less battery backup because of no efficiency cores
The X4 cores are all underclocked to achieve their max efficiency peaks .The A720 cores in 9300 are clocked below 2 ghz compared to 8gen 3's A720 & A520 due to which they r more efficient. Even apple uses 4 efficiency cores clocked at 2 ghz which are even better than A720 and 3x efficient than those trash A520 cores on 8gen 3. Well there are already rumours that 9400 will clap 8gen 4 in terms of power, efficiency as well as pricing ofc 😂😂. The underdog will really be THE dawg now!!

Guys please cool down. No matter how you look at it, Snap was and will be the best. It generally performed better in games and was more energy efficient. In throttling tests you need to look not at numbers but at graphics, and Snap is better here.

1:10 Stop using Antutu scores .... Antutu only measures peak performance and guess what that only lasts for one second after that the processor throttles and reduces performance that's why Exynos chips scored high on antutu but not actually performed better in sustained load

Snapdragon. Both are capable enough but developers tends to optimise snapdragon chips more than mediatek. So, you will see less bugs in the phone with sd chipsets. Lastly, it also hugely depends on the brand. Buy from brands like Samsung, nothing etc.
For anyone that says that the dimensity 9300 destroys the SD 8 gen 3 you are wrong because yes its correct that the dimensity is faster its only my a little and the snapdragon in also more efficient once again only by a little so it does not destroy the SD 8 gen 3
Also not everyone cares about gaming. Sure its a good benchmark , but many people like me want a flagship phone cuz its gonna last long on us even if our usage is just social media. I have a 778g phone and it lags a lot in day to day usage which makes me wanna consider iqoo12/OP 12 as it will be stable in all areas for the next 4-5 years of my usage as a college student
Which mobile are you using? I'm also using 778g IQoo Z6 pro I don't find any lags in daily usage
