I went to elementary middle and high school with him so happy to see he’s doing well
This young man has renewed my faith in the game of baseball (along with a couple of other guys). He plays the game with a joy and an abandonment that is rare in game at the MLB level.

He’s got a great mentor in his dad. His dad may not have been anywhere near being amongst the greatest pitchers of all time, but few played the game as hard and respected the game as much as his dad did, which is why I was a huge Bobby Witt fan back in the mid 90s. Hopefully Jr has learned all about the grit and toughness his dad had and can combine it with his talent to become a future HOFer.
